New York Bagels’N Bialys - Cactus

We travel from Tucson. 2 hours away to eat here.

This place is not all that. The bagels were bland and very small. I ordered the Mexican omelet and it tasted like onions with chorizo and eggs. Almost no cheese in it only on top. The green chilies had no flavor. The home fries were dry.

Bagels weren’t “New York” quality. They are missing flavor and the cream cheese quantity wasn’t a lot. Also the bacon was not great, it tastes like precooked bacon you buy at the store. Service was good but food wasn’t up to par.

Great breakfast spot with awesome bagels

Had an amazing time at New York Bagels & Bialys! We enjoyed a delicious spread of grilled cheese, tomato soup, coffee, eggs Benedict, a bialy, and corned beef hash. Everything was super tasty and delicious. The only thing I'd suggest is more fun coffee options or pre-made drinks, as the selection was a bit limited. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Really like this place. Good fresh food and they're pretty quick to get it out. Only recommendation I'd make is to check your order if you're taking it out. Around 30% of the time, I'm missing syrup, bagels or something small 😕

If you want decent bagels with zero atmosphere, this is the place. It's super basic, but they have good bagels.

OMG - Put the heat on and get some covers for the METAL CHAIRS!! Great food and service but had to get my meal to go because we were so cold (Saturday 9amish). Everyone was saying why is it so cold in here! Splurge for heat!!!!!

Service is aways good and the food is good too

A bagel place should have bagels and bailies.. the selection is on a few trays, don’t smell or feel fresh, rather drive to Scottsdale site… waste of space!!!

Not sure how I missed this place, but the bagels are AWESOME 👏😋 Quick service that is a good combination of table/counter service.

These are not New York anything. Had some for the first time days ago.They tasted like they were cooked the day before. The Poppy Seed bagels are entirely covered.with Poppy seeds. My everything bagel, all I tasted was the fennel seed. The bagels are only seasoned on one side, so if you want to slice it in half you have one seasoned side and one plain side. I've never ever seen that and I lived in New York for thirty years. Of the six people that were here(All New Yorkers) nobody liked the bagels. Very dissapointing. We threw out the extra bagels. First and last time I buy from them again.

Douglas & NYBB totally rock. We swapped the Sunday morning Starbucks drive-thru with a stop into this shop for breakfast - and were really glad that we did. Absolutely recommend !

Douglas is always so friendly, patient and tentative. Every time we come in, he is the best part of our experience!

The blandest bacon egg and cheese I’ve ever eaten for $10. The “New York” is just a marketing gimmick this has nothing to do with New York , I can make you better food than this place .
