They had several things however no St. Joseph pastries! Not one! That's huge for Italians so I was pretty disappointed in that but their pizza looked delicious.

Found this place randomly a few years ago and absolutely LOVE IT! My biggest problem with the previous owner and the new owner is they make such a good specialty sub that I never try anything else lolI have got to try the pizza and other stuff as well but man that Joe's sandwich is great. Was working in the area today and stopped in and got it and a pistachio cannoli that was also fantastic. They have indoor and outdoor seating which today was perfect to sit outside and enjoy.Sidenote I had been looking for 00 flour locally for awhile now and realized they carry some great options here and got a little lesson as well.Next time I am in I will definitely want to try something else but I will probably be walking out with the Joe again and my flour to make pasta at home.I know a lot of us out here are from the Chicago area as well as back east and if you miss those amazing little mom and pop delis that make everything fresh this is the place to go! It reminds me of back home.

I was told about this place in my Uber ride. So i went and checked it out. What a cool little place. Great ingredients in the grocery. They sell handmade pasta. Everyone from the cashier to the cooks was friendly.I got a few seconds to talk with the masterminds in the kitchen, both from france. Probably why the food is so good, especially the bread.I got the chicken parm sandwich and tried the meatball mushroom slice pizza. The pizza man u can tell they used the spices to make the doe, and even the crust was enjoyable to eat. I haven't had pizza like this since i was in Rome. The sandwich the bread was so light and delicious and rge chicken parm man. Demolished it. I was talking to the owner, i can eat a whole foot long sub from Subway and still be hungry after. Their subs aren't as big, but it filled me up. Its judt how you know the ingredients they use are the best. It's a family owned shop, the owner was cooking, and his kids were happy to be there. His young son was on the phone solving problems and his little daughter man, she was crackibg me up shes just delivering food to the shops around the area that ordered. You dont see many family run places like this anymore. The seating is nice, only a few spots but enough to sit and enjoy lunch and listen to the atmosphere. They will talk with you as well, which was cool because i was interested in how they did things. Very friendly, very good food, def worth coming to check out, and I'll be telling my Uber passengers to check it out.

Waited an hour for a soggy sandwich. Ordered togo waited an hour to get my food which I’m fine with waiting, but it’s a problem when other people who ordered way after me get their food. All I had ordered was a meatball sub and some deli items, but people who had ordered multiple sandwiches were able to eat there and leave, all while I was still waiting. Once I said something they said we’re almost done sorry about that then still processed to do other things and then finally got my deli stuff together. All in all not a good first experience would not recommend to anyone.

Food was great and service was even better!I had the pleasure of being helped by a young man and he was so helpful in suggesting popular menu items, guiding my energetic toddler around the store, and he eventually went the extra mile to walk the food to my car. I love supporting family businesses that serve authentic food. Will definitely come here again!

12/23/23: we spotted Niccoli's while eating in the area and finally came back to check them out. It's fairly small in the front, crowded with lots of goodies, and if I recall correctly, there were a couple small tables on the sidewalk. When we walked in, there was a woman there w/ one small child on her hip. then she proceeded to harass the young lately behind the counter because her food was taking too long. She was complaining because she saw the guy in the back do this and that instead of making her food -- then she played the pregnant & hungry card and the "my kid here is getting fussy, she needs her nap". My sister and I were thinking "then leave the kid at home next time!", as well as "do you want freshly made food? then stop complaining!" :-)The counter gal kept apologizing and handled the Karen very well. We were both impressed w/ her and she was very friendly with us, laughing off the Karen situation as we complimented her on her handling skills. She did explain there would be a wait on the food, which gave us time to explore the racks and make other purchases. The calzone was freaking huge! The meatball sub was good, although I think some additional condiments would have been a nice touch. The bread / dough, though, was pliable and just the right texture -- even a couple days later. We have every intention of re-visiting Niccoli's, next time for their pizza.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone and I will be going back. The staff was so nice and generous. They made sure we had an enjoyable experience. Everything is freshly made with quality ingredients. The sandwich was delicious. The bread was baked to perfection! The sauce was portioned well with the cheese and chicken.

FANTASTIC! We had an Italian sausage and pepperoni pizza. Perfect! Also had a cannoli and lemon ricotta cookies....yum. They had a great variety of meats and cheese, as well as other unique items. We will definitely be back next time we are in Phoenix.

Good food and even better service. It was our first time here. The man taking our order overheard my toddler begging for pickles and brought some out with the food. Italian sub and lasagna were both good, cannolis to die for.
