This is a pretty good place for ramen that I would recommend. Their appetizers are awesome. We ordered the chicken karage, fried squid legs, and gyoza. Everything was fried perfectly and tasty. The ramen soup was good. I would say they aren't spicy enough but other than that, it's pretty good! They also have old school anime playing on the tv!

We came in and were seated promptly. Our waitress was a complete sweetheart! Service was great because we ordered and our food came out about 5 minutes after. The broth and food are as amazing as the Chandler location but even better now that it is closer. Very authentic Japanese ramen and highly recommend the chashu pork and soft boiled egg. We also tried out their house green tea and that was really refreshing on a hot summer day. We overall had a great experience :) We will definitely be back.

This place is incredible! The ramen is really top-notch. The pork broth in the Nishikawa Black Oil ramen bowl is rich with lots of flavor and spice. The pork cutlet is a very large portion and oh so tender. The soft boiled egg was perfect. The service is great, fast, and friendly. Best experience I've ever had for ramen. A++++

My most favorite ramen shop that actually tastes authentic!! This place is heaven sent lol. It's so close to home compared to the Chandler location, makes it super convenient/accessible. The flavors are amazing and complex in each individual ramen bowl, the noodles perfect amount of softness, pork chasu literally melts in your mouth!! They really do out a lot of work/passion into making the ramen, they cook it for at least 24 hours so you know it's going to be good!!! I really love this place so much & I heard they do delivery... I will be visiting a lot more frequently. This is my ultimate go-to ramen shop

Really good ramen place. Miso ramen was a solid meal choice. Spring rolls as an appetizer is a great add. Even though they were extremely busy on a Sunday night, the service was attentive, we didn’t suffer from hunger. It was a bit hot inside, but I am sure it was a one time occurrence with the AC performance failure.

The calamari isn’t salty and tastes light and delicious.
We visited Nishikawa Ramen in the late evening and we were simply blown away!! I had the Tonkatsu Ramen and my dining partner had the Shoyu Ramen and both were very delicious. We shared the Vegetable Croquettes as well, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were gigantic and you could tell everything was extremely fresh. The croquettes were creamy and crispy, the ramen was packed with goodies. We will definitely be visiting again, and you should do the same!

After shopping at IKEA in Tempe we decided to drive all the way to NishiKawa to dine in. First time and I was very impressed with the service, food and location. It felt like I was in Japan again eating at a shokodo. Authentic and simply Japan style.

The ramen is awesome! Not too spicy, but will tease your tongue and satisfy your stomach. Will recommend.

We attempted to eat here, but it was a freaking sauna inside . Many other reviews now say the same. 109* outside at 7 pm. We left asap. Fix or turn on your AC. Hot 🔥 🥵
Excellent small place. Just enjoy the food. The service is quick. The ramen is good. The inside seating is small but adequate. This ain’t the place where board meetings will be done but it’s a place where friends go and chill over a cup of ramen.

I absolutely love this place. I even don't mind eating hot ramen during our hot summers. But for the love of everything that's holy turn the AC on for crying out loud. If you go before 12:00 the AC is not on it's super muggy in there which makes it even more difficult to enjoy the hot ramen. It makes you not even want to come and eat.

Very unprofessional
Extremely horrible experience, when I say lessons learned i mean lessons learned. The server was extremely rude and and has no professionalism in her work ethic. She took her time to tend to me and my family, I tried being nice keep a calm head because my kids were with me. For a 6,8 and 10 year old to see the rudeness speaks volumes. Now let's get to the food, I made better ramen at home I just thought it'd be a cute experience for my kids. The noodles were horrible none of us finished anything, the rice bowl was actually some what decent. First and last, they don't even deserve the one star. If the service was actually decent, then I'd say they deserve it. It was also really hot ac did not work. Money comes and goes, but an experience is a life time. Guarantee you will find better service and food and at a circle k or McDonald's than here
