I know where the best Sonoran dogs are located in Tucson. This little truck makes them awfully close. Not exact. But very close. The best Sonoran dogs are not from restaurants. They are from food trucks.
Lo que me gusta mas de este locacion son los burros de Al Pastor y los tacos de cabeza! You know this spot is fire when the menu is so old its faded and illegible lol it's a hole in the wall spot for sure! Small food truck that is open pretty late into the night that offers some of the best Al Pastor burritos and tacos de cabeza in the area! Don't be shy, this truck is local, and although not located in the best area, you can always order to go.
I had to try one of these Sonoran style hot dogs for my own personal #hotdogsummer. This place was recommended on some top ten page I found in my search, and it delivered. It was late (around 11 pm), so slightly tricky to find for us out of towners, and I wasn't expecting that it was a truck with a patio.
It was exactly what we needed at that time. The man working was friendly and efficient, and the food was served quickly.
