My wife and I were on an overnight trip to Phoenix and wanted to find a nice place to eat dinner. After a quick search the Nook came up as a suggestion.
While driving we passed a few other restaurants, but followed through with our choice and we were not disappointed.
The atmosphere, service and food were all amazing.
Definitely going to go back next time we’re in the Valley.

This is not our first time at Nook, but it is the first time we came for lunch. We were celebrating my daughter‘s birthday and there were six of us. As always, the service was spot on and the food was great. We ordered the mushroom pizza with spicy sapperssata (like pepperoni only better), meatball sub, the spicy capicola sandwich, and the wagyu cheese burger. Other than the burgers the food was amazing. The capicola sandwich was piled high, the meatball sandwich was huge and of course the pizza was amazing (star of the show if you ask me). They saw we were celebrating so they offered a free dessert to my daughter and she ordered the banana pudding and we also ordered the pineapple fritters and both were super delicious.
I highly recommend Nook, but probably stay away from the burger. Also note they automatically add gratuity to parties of six or more.

This is a cute place however the service was less than what would be expected at a restaurant of this caliber. I got the Sunday sauce as was recommended by the server and it was little more than tomato sauce with meat. The sauce was supposed to include short rib which was overcooked and predominantly bone and fat. The pizza was fine but the same as what you could get at any other mid tier Italian restaurant. I’d go back for the appetizers but even the “bartender’s creation” drink I ordered was just a pick of the menu offerings.

Bucatini with vodka sauce is premier. Skip the Brussels chips - it's missing the whole sprout. Austin is the best server ever!

Nook Kitchen is absolutely exceptional, truly speechless good. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, incredibly flavorful, and 100% worth every penny. You can taste the care and intention behind the food.
We had the pleasure of meeting one of the co-owners, Nicholas, which made the experience even more special. Our server, Rachel, was fantastic, attentive, warm, and genuinely kind. Honestly, everyone we interacted with was welcoming and lovely, which made the whole evening feel elevated yet comfortable.
I also loved the complimentary valet (such a nice touch), and while it does get very busy as the night goes on, the atmosphere remains beautiful, casual, and inviting, never overwhelming.
This is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. A true Arcadia gem, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Wish I took more pictures!!

It was my first time to Nook. Overall, it was a positive experience. Both of our dishes were solid. The brussels sprouts appetizer was tasty. Our service was somewhat rushed, but it was a busy Saturday night.

While the service was excellent, what a disappointment! The food was truly awful. The bread tasted like it had been in the freezer for a month, the Caesar chicken salad was burnt chicken on top of Romain with a little tiny bit of shaved Parm and not so great dressing. My friend had the burger, which was about an eighth of an inch thick and hard as a rock. We paid an average of $25 each and feel completely ripped off.

Love the atmosphere here and the food was superb. Their brussel sprout chips are excellent starters for the table along with the calamari! The DJ had the vibes feeling NEXT LEVEL! I will return, nice spot for a big group of friends/family

The Nook Kitchen was excellent for lunch. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, and the food was the star — everything we tried was so delicious and clearly made with care. Our espresso martinis were delish 🍸🍸🍸
Shoutout to Ana, our server, who was as sweet as can be and incredibly attentive throughout the meal. We’ll definitely be back soon!
