The service & food is always a good dining experience. The group had a great time & will be going back soon.

We have been looking for a new sushi place closer to us for a few months, we finally decided to try Nori out, we were not disappointed. Great cocktails, rolls, sashimi and nigiri. Very fresh, and great tasting. We will be going back for sure.

The food and service are consistently excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.

Great happy hour! Food and service excellent. Impressive to see manager help servers when busy. Nice atmosphere

We had an excellent lunch sitting outside. Two of us had sushi lunch and the third teriyaki chicken lunch. Lunches all come with dumplings, California roll and you so soon.

Alright Nori, normally I’m a fan, but tonight I took my cousin here for a dinner and probably won’t ever drop back. After we’ve paid our bill, and had 2x drinks, we were approached by their manager and told that we needed to show ID because the waiter forgot to ask. No sweat. Except this guy didn’t believe my ID was real, and needed to see mobile ID. Keep in mind this is after we’ve paid and had our drinks. After investigating both ID’s further, he told me and my cousin that we should be happy with have such baby faces. Weirdest interaction I’ve had in a minute. I’m a 26 year old man.

Update- To be clear the order was not completed properly and taking things off the bill that you did not bring is literally the least you can do. We will never be back and want to make sure others save themselves the trouble.

Nori was unable to bring what we ordered, unable to fix it, and stated that they would check the cameras to make sure we got what we ordered, which we did not. Too bad because the food was decent, but makes sense why the restaurant was empty with such poor service. We had people eating with their hands because they could not get silverware and multiple people had to order things numerous times to have a chance of maybe receiving them.

Overall a great experience without the need for reservations on a Thursday night. Fresh sushi 🍣 and delightful drinks 🍹. Very laid-back environment and friendly service that was fast. Highly recommend!

Vegetarian options: Tempura was on the greasy side. Breaded and not battered.

Parking: Great location

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Please bring iPads to keep them company and quiet. 🤫🤣

We do our quarterly company dinners here and it's always a great time with great food and service. The place is very spacious and accommodating with a great sushi selection and creative drink menu. Great job again Nori. The Macuhealth team

Horrible service, food is decent. If you have a gluten allergy they barely accommodate to you. I’ve heard the owner is bad for years but now I understand why. Doesn’t keep up with his restaurant. Wouldn’t recommend here or his other restaurants. You can tell his staff hates working for him.

The crispy tuna is the reason for the 3rd star.
Starting with the espresso martini, they tap it off with way too much Cocoa powder, and then they Torch it for some reason. So when you go to sip it, it smells very burnt. And then there is so much Cocoa powder that you end up sniffing it up your nose and then towards the end of the drink. That's all you get, is clumps of powder.

The salmon skin roll was very dry and bland.

The crispy tuna roll was absolutely delicious. However, it took over an hour for them to make it.

The service was lacking incredibly. Our server didn't seem to know anything about the restaurant. Whatsoever. It took a very, very long time for any food to come out.And then once it did come out, we felt very rushed to finish and leave. Overall probably would not be going back.

Gave the restaurant a second chance after Josh, one of the managers, reached out to us, having had a less than ideal experience. Josh and team went out of their way to make sure our return to the restaurant was A++. Shout out to Holly as well, our waitress, for doing a great job.

Not impressed. They forgot one of our dishes, server ignored us. One of the sushi rolls has imitation smoke flavoring which was gross. We booked it for a birthday celebration and they asked us if it was a special occasion and then proceeded to ignore us and make no mention of the birthday or the celebration. With so many great sushi places in Scottsdale and Phoenix this is definitely one to be avoided. This restaurant is nothing more than a convenience for the people living in the adjacent apartments and should not be a travel destination for a good meal or service.
