Wow!! I just tried this restaurant for the first time and I am so so happy that I did. I ordered the chicken parmesan which comes with I think it's rigatoni with a parmesan cream sauce and it is the most incredibly amazing thing. I ordered it for delivery and it really did travel well. I was concerned from the picture that it might be a little bit small for an entree but it's the perfect size. The chicken is huge and the pasta portion is enormous. BUT the coconut butter cake is the best thing ever!!! Trust me - just get it! 💜 🎂
Update: just ordered from here a second time and it was really not good at all. The White Truffle Garlic Bread was saturated in oil and tasted very sour. Some pieces were just soggy with oil. It was gross. The Lasagna Bianca has rib meat on top, which was just oozing oil all over the lasagna. Over all, it was a very heavy and oily mess. I wouldn't ever order these two items again.
Second update: I spoke with the manager who was deeply apologetic and issued me a gift card to make up for the meal and even went so far as to instruct me to ask for her next time I order so that she could make sure that my order was absolutely perfect next time. Excellent customer service and you can tell they really care about doing a good job!

Back home (Mobile Alabama) this would have been a 5 but the competition is obviously better in Phoenix. Unique twists on food (lasagna with brisket & a white sause instead of red & tiramisu with lady fingers) were very good but I wouldn't say outstanding.

The short rib dish was amazing. Server brought wine samples for us to taste. Will be back.
Nestled in the heart of the Biltmore district, this location of North Italia offers upscale Italian cuisine in a moderately-relaxed and casual-esque environment. From the valet to the attentive staff to the well-curated decor, it has the capability to serve as a sophisticated night out or a more relaxed weeknight dining experience. The food, in my opinion, is top-notch. I started with grilled bread and olive oil, which is an appropriately-priced and quite filling appetizer. From there I moved to the squid ink tonnarelli, which fuses elements of seafood and traditional Italian cuisine, along with a dash of mint, to synthesize a delightful and perfectly filling meal. Finally, I ended the night with the tiramisu, which is artfully prepared and a true joy for the taste buds. I did find the ambiance to be a bit loud for what presents as an upscale eatery, with casual pop music and an open kitchen, but nothing not unbearable by any means. Finally, I had made my reservation under the pretenses of a birthday but was not rewarded in any way for this (not that I expect it or feel entitled to it, just something of note).
Food is always tasty and consistent. Service is always great.

A true 5-star Italian restaurant experience. The service was great and the squid ink calamari pasta, the Bolognese pasta, and the alla norcina pasta were so delectable. The Sidecar martini I ordered was presented and mixed so well that I the levels of tartness and sweetness were balanced.

Food is solid but $26 for a pasta and $25 for an individual pizza just bad value. Too bad this is where we are in 2025. I recall the days in 2018 when a Margarita Pizza was $7 on Happy Hour Menu and $13 on regular menu. Today that same Margarita Pizza is $23
We had family visiting from out of state and we chose North Italia for dinner. We've dined at North previously, over at the Peoria location, and as usual, the service and food was exceptional! The wine, appetizers & main course was absolutely delicious! Being an Italian family, we appreciate authentic selections. Thank you.
Favorite authentic Italian in the area with such a great atmosphere! Pasta is to die for and the arancini fantastic.
Excellent food, good value for what are high quality dishes, can be quite loud inside but they have an outside terrace.

Overall our experience at North Italia - Arcadia was very enjoyable. The staff was courteous and our waitress excellent. The food was great with the only minor complaint being that the pizza dough bread that comes on the charcuterie board was cold. There was a hint of warmth when it first arrived but it's clear that it sat for a bit before getting served. Had it been hot, or even warm, it would have been perfection. That is a minor complaint at best and given our experience, we are likely to be back. If it was closer to our home, we'd definitely make it a staple of our regular restaurant rotation.
The service was fantastic and the food & drinks impeccable. Each dish was simply prepared but the flavors were robust and authentic. More than a great meal, it was a dining experience!
There were 4 of us for brunch. We were there for over 2 hours. The slowest service I've ever received. It was really ridiculous. We finally got to order 35 minutes after we sat down. The food came out hot and delicious.
North knocks it out of the park every time. Haven't had anything that wasn't excellent. Our toddler loves the big bowl of spaghetti and also enjoys the calamari and shares our grown up dinners with us. The space is lovely with complimentary valet. Bit of an odd location but the adjacent U-Haul store is unnoticeable once inside even from the patio thanks to the ficus!
Valet service steals from your car and North Italia doesn't care and neither does the Valet service. 200.00 pair of Ray Ban Justins that are 5 days old are gone... Maxwell the wanted nothing to do with assisting me with their names and hung up on me when I called to verify the GM's email address and he didn't even take my name down.
