Fantastic sopes. It's worth driving 45 minutes to eat here. Friendly staff. Thrifty ice cream if you want after.

Really good food and the best mole in the valley. I dropped a star because the cafe de olla was a fail. Otherwise it is authentic Mexican food

I’ve been to Oaxaca restaurant twice so far, it’s very welcoming the place is very clean the waitress kept checking up on our table.
Twice I ordered mole and green tamales wrapped in banana leaf, they both are very flavorful perfect amount of meat.
Definitely worth the 40 min drive.
Heard of this place through a friend and wow the food is extremly good. I tried their green and mole tamales and had a perfect balance of masa and meat. The waiter who attended us was so sweet and welcoming making sure we were satisfied. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming as well. Defo want to try other items next time.
Good authentic Mexican food.

Had a nice visit to Oaxaca Mexican Restaurant in Sedona. The food was decent, with traditional Mexican flavors that hit the spot. The restaurant itself is a decent spot to relax after exploring Sedona, with a casual vibe and friendly service.

The food here was excellent. If you want to try Mexican food with not only your Mexican staples that all Mexican restaurants carry but also try new dishes not normally offered in most places, this is the place to go. It's a small quaint place, homey restaurant with authentically ethnic and diverse offerings. Try it out for true Mexican and delicious food!!!

Service was great. In contrast to the loud banda music you get in other places, they had some nice boleros in the background and we were told that there is live marimba music on Sunday mornings. It's nice to see items on the menu that aren't the same thing you see in most Mexican restaurants. The quesadillas were awesome, the cheese is imported, and they also sell Oaxacan spices. If you're craving something sweet without the sugar, splenda sweetend dessert is an option. We're definitely going back to check out other menu items. :)

Entering the store filled me with happiness, it was very cultural. The smiles and the atmosphere reminded me of Mexico. The workers welcomed us with smiles and good food. The food was excellent, I didn't want more or less, it seemed enough.
