On a lunch break from a meeting at ADE I decided to check this place out because it was close. I would come back again and go out of my way next time. Food was tasty and they have a combo discount. The service was perfect. They are happy and diligent. Country store atmosphere in the busy downtown area.

The vibe inside is awesome—old license plates, vintage décor, and history on the walls from when it first opened 40 years ago. The owner is super passionate and you can taste it in the food.
I tried the cheeseburger sub (one of his creations) and it was amazing. Definitely going back to work through the rest of the menu.
Downtown Phoenix needs more places like this—trust me, it’s worth the stop.

Came to the Old Station Sandwich Shop today for Lunch and I’m so happy that I did. Little house very quaint and cozy! Every employee looked happy to be working here and their Meatball sub was delish! Obviously I will have to keep coming back to try other sandwiches because it is really worth the money 👍🏼
AWESOME FIND! Found this place close to our hotel while in downtown Phoenix. Better then any corporate sub company we have had. Bread was so fresh and soft. And the tuna salad was awesome! The owner was way cool and spent time talking with us. Can't wait to come back!

Really good and fresh sandwiches. My favorites are the turkey sandwich and the Ruben on sliced rye. Tried the beef & barley soup today and that was amazing as well. Quick lunch spot with good atmosphere. Online ordering for pickup is helpful.
