A restaurant should really be able to process simple to-go orders in less than 40 minutes, or not do to-go orders when they're slammed. Food is good, but tbh not worth the wait. Between the parking situation, the wait, and the tendency to run out of food, I'd say this is a pass.

I visited Ollie Vaughn's today, and honestly, the menu prices seemed a bit high for what was served. I ordered the biscuit sandwich, but it was disappointing; I'm not sure how you overcook a simple sausage patty, but it was quite poor. Additionally, the seating arrangement felt odd, as guests are expected to share tables with strangers. Overall, I don't plan on returning; this place just isn't for me.

This spot is a fantastic choice for breakfast, and we really enjoyed our visit ππ½οΈ. We ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes along with a breakfast scramble, and both dishes were packed with flavor and beautifully presented π₯ππ«. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We also tried the brown sugar shaken espresso, which was absolutely delicious and smooth βοΈπ€. The only downside was the portion size β it came in a small cup with a lot of ice, so you end up with around 6 ounces of actual coffee for the $7.50 price πΈπ . That said, the taste was great, and the overall experience made up for it. The vibe was welcoming, the service was friendly, and the food was tasty and well presented ππ. Iβd definitely come back again!

This place is overhyped in my opinion. Waited in line to order the skillet egg breakfast but they were out. We ordered the 2 egg breakfast, biscuit and gravy (added egg) and breakfast burrito. The best thing about our meal was the sourdough bread. Close to 60 dollars for those items plus a 4 dollar water since the cashier didn't tell us they have a self serve water station. Gets packed fast so I can see not finding a place to sit at times. Thr bakery items in the case looked good but we didn't try them.

If someone Asked (hypothetically), a person might recommend that the owners Move To Another Location, with all due respect. It's a downtrodden area, gravel and unpaved sections all around the buildings and Terrible Parking options, because there's No parking At The Restaurant. We stood in line for over 20 minutes, but then we were told waiting wouldn't get us a Table, just a spot on their list for a table(yes, the restaurant is tiny). I also Don't want to see the owner's Political viewpoints Posted in their Window, as if they're Trying to Alienate Most of their Clientele. Politicians should be Campaigning, not Restaurant owners. Sadly, it's also Not exaggerating to say that there were three piles of Dog Excrement along the sidewalk, in both directions, leading up to their building. Bir we know why, because Literally while we were in line, some Irresponsible dog owner standing there let his dog defecate in front of the restaurant while we were all standing in line. Unbelievable as it seems, we then saw a poor woman Step in some of the dog feces right before we decided to Leave. If this is the environment the Owners Prefer, I'd recommend you Avoid the restaurant.

One of Phoenix's retro mid century buildings brings a fresh concept. They have excellent coffee to start, all of the ingredients in my breakfast were fresh and high quality, and even the presentation had extra love. The cast iron baked egg is pictured; highly recommend this well-balanced flavor profile! I'll be back in next week for biscuits and gravy (schreiner's pork) out on the patio.

Breakfast at Ollie Vaughnβs was an absolute win. The pork skillet was rich, savory perfection β that sunny egg on top sealed the deal β and the coffee? Smooth, bold, and exactly what a morning should taste like. Great food, relaxed vibe, and officially added to my Phoenix must-return list

Gluten free options (bread, pastries) available. My gluten free pastry was initially put in the same container as a non gluten free one, but when I clarified they needed to be separate the staff was helpful and understanding. The food, atmosphere and service were all 5 stars.

Came by for lunch, service was great. Really enjoyed my soup and sandwich. The black iced tea was delicious. Great music for the middle of the day and a sweet little outdoor space. A gem.
The Pork Chili Verde is to die for! I recommend getting a biscuit instead of the tortilla. I must soak up every drop of goodness. The biscuits are the best I have ever eaten!

We didn't get a proper intro to the place since it was our first visit, and we didn't know water was self-serve. The food was just lukewarm, and we had to ask for silverware when dessert came. The tiramisu had egg shells in it. Overall, the service wasn't up to par. Staff not friendly
