Spicy broth was really good, chashu was okay, egg was delicious (only get half of the egg tho), noodles were good (a little too soft for me but I know a lot of people like softer noodles).

Use MSG. They didn’t tell me. I was sick for about an hour. Ramen is ok but not imperative. However, they have an iPad system and that eliminated any human interaction. Restaurant is about experience and they don’t give you none. Walls are fully decorated with anime characters; very dizzy. Not for adults environment. Not recommended.

Food came out incorrectly (ordered spicy miso ramen) was served regular ramen and asked if they can make it spicy...chef came out with raised voice saying it was correct when it fact it was essentially foamy broth water. Yall can keep it.

But honestly - I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed this ramen. Good variety of broths and toppings. Definitely will be back. Nice friendly and young crowd as well.

I've never had Kyoto style ramen outside of Kyoto before. This place has really good broth, and I like the lean chicken style. They keep adding variations as specials so I've just ordered whatever is new each time I go in for the last few visits and I've been impressed every time. You must try it at least a few times, then you'll feel like it is a place truly run by the chef; inventive but traditional, rich but not oily.
Kid-friendliness: Decor is fun for kids and adults alike.
By the time an extra is added, and garlic or any non-protein extra is added at basically $2.00 this is well over $20.00 for bowl of ramen. The noodles are store bought and of little note. The protiens are astoundingly stingy. Ordered an extra few slices of deli ham to my most recent bowl, err...chashu. There was no skimping on the add on of green onions, at least 2 whole ones were sacrificed into the steaming liquid, an excellent fiber bonus. The broth and the basic bowl assembly is simply excellent (minus the cha-shu which is a travesty of unnecessary managerial greed), maybe the lesson here is stick with the stock order and don't try to fancy it up. As the customer is responsible for doing everything through a QR code and the website, service didn't really do much and was pleasant. The atmosphere is fun.
