This is an extremely confusing place to eat. They don't clearly explain what is included in their bowls and what you are expected to add. The staff doesn't provide much clarification either. They need to make it much clearer what the bowl has as a base, what you need to add and what is extra.

Just love This place! The fact that a lot of things can be made gluten-free and vegetarian is great for our family and I love that you can order and pick it up at the drive-through so you don’t have to pay the exorbitant delivery fees!

Summary: if you have Celiac, RUN! Manager blew off serious, legit complaint I had. See details below.

The food is great just like other chopshop locations. But the customer service on allergies is atrocious.

There are some kind employees who take my order specifically (compared to using the self service kiosk) so they can put special instructions letting the kitchen know Im gluten free. I have celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder that can actually cause cancer (over a long period) if you don’t adhere to a strict gluten free diet. But if you have cross contamination in kitchens just once, a person can feel nauseous, in pain, anxious etc for days to WEEKS. So, I tend to cook as much as possible at home and stay at “safe” restaurants that tend to cater to gluten free crowds, just like chopshop.

Today, 2-28-26, I had the same problem for a 2nd time. Instead of using the self service kiosk I ordered from the register/employee and emphasized “I have a gluten allergy. Can you please put that in there?” They said they did but when I went to go check with the manager (since it wasn’t on the receipt) he basically said “oops, ill let the kitchen know”. So that makes 2 times Ive had to order specifically from an employee, then double check with a manager so I don’t potentially get violently ill. It was the same manager both times, so he didn’t correct himself after my first experience, which is the only reason Im writing this review.

When I spoke to the manager a few minutes later when he brought me my food, all he said was sorry in a nonchalant way. Nothing about new training, speaking with the employee, taking it seriously. He just said sorry and walked away! I even told him how sick I can get if a mistake is made, noting how long illness can linger. He did not care, one bit. The new hire who took my order cared wayyyyy more than him and is a sweet woman. She just hasn’t been trained properly on this particular thing.

Other chopshops do not have this issue. They always take care of me and I eat there a ton as a go to due to my dietary restriction.

Love the dragonfruit smoothie. Not too sweet! The recipe always seems to be the same no matter how many times I go.

I am so thankful they finally opened one near me. The menu is very diverse and predominantly healthy food. Services grade and sometimes they even give you little bonus perks.

By the name I thought I would get a steak or pork chop. I was surprised the c chop was like in salad. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the food . The service was friendly.

After mostly frequenting the location in Arcadia on 32nd St., I was pleased to see a location that opened up on seventh Street and Thomas. This afternoon, I popped in to pick up a quick lunch. This location bypasses actual staff taking your order in lei of customers placing their order at a self service kiosk. That is fine, but I was disappointed by the lack of overall customer service that was displayed from the moment that I walked in the door when none of the staff greeted me, the Hispanic male manager, walked past me multiple times completely infringing on my personal space without so much as a cursory “excuse me”.It appears as though this location was still working out some kinks as I came in during the lunch hour, and a reminder of basic human kindness and customer service skills could be reviewed.
