Stopped in to try the fried scallops and ended up getting that plus, BLT and husband got the fried catfish and carrot cake. Could not have been happier. It is a bar so we thought it would be the typical bar food. NOPE! It was NOT greasy, cooked PERFECT and absolutely delicious!! This place was very clean! We watched them clean after a couple left and they were meticulous. They offered a military discount and even without the discount was still reasonably priced! The portions are so large we had lots of leftovers. I hesitated leaving a review because I don't want this gem to get packed for my own selfish reason LOL but thought that's not fair! Trust you will NOT be disappointed! Other regulars and patrons were so friendly struck up a little convo with us. GREAT LITTLE HANG OUT with amazing food!

Best Fish Fry in Phoenix. I stopped by to have dinner and much to my surprise I was amazed. First by the reception and greeting by a gal named my Mikala. I asked about the fish fry as I have been known to drive all way to Payson American Legion. Mikala assured me that the fish fry at the Q would beat and meet my expectations. The Cod is flown in from Alaska and she was right in that it would beat my expectations. Large pieces of thick Cod with amazing tartar sauce. My dinner came with coleslaw and French Fries. The food was great, The service was great and the atmosphere was very inviting. Thank you for a fabulous dinner and service!!!!

Excellent "dive-bar" experience! The all you can eat fish fry is delicious! Burgers and many other sandwiches, philly steak, panini's and more. Outdoor patio and bar is a plus! Highly recommended!

We were there just last night. I've been coming here about a year. I'm not sure what is going on now but our experience was not good. First I asked the server how were the nachos. Her reply"amazing". Ummm no. We were served nachos with cheese wiz!!! I couldn't eat any of them. I tried. But couldn't get past the cold cheese wiz just plopped on. Then there's the "q sauce". That was just browned ground beef. My 2 friends were starving so they did eat them. I did not. When the sever came back much later,I asked her about it. She stated oh no, it's not cheese wiz it comes out of a can. Ugh. I'm sorry but this is Arizona. There is an abundance of Mexican restaurants. If I wanted nachos like that I would go to QT or circle k.I don't. I did suggest to her maybe you need to let people know it's not real cheese. I had inquired about it so we definitely should have been told. A while later our food came out. I'm not sure why service was slow there were only 2 tables. My friend noticed she was also working the bar. I had ordered the French dip. It was half cold inside,swiss cheese not even melted and very dry and bland. The "aujus" that came with it was unsalted beef broth. I did not eat any. I just couldn't. I would have told our server if she had ever come back to check on us but she did not. My friend didn't eat most of her cheese steak. However her bf did eat his. She never even asked why we had not eaten. My whole sandwich was untouched except for 2 bites. I like to enjoy my food when I go out. This was not cheap. More importantly I was so embarrassed because I had told my friends how good this was. However I have always gone for the fish on the weekends. So that's that. Their fish is absolutely delicious. I was extremely disappointed with this visit with food and service.
