I've only ever gotten coffee and pastries here, and that's mainly because they are so good that I can never bring myself to sit down and try the other food. The elote scone is incredible, never had a scone so moist and flavorful. The vanilla cream filled donut is gently sweet, it's a treasure in a world where all donuts are way too sugary for my tastes. I've had lots of other pastries too, they are just all good, I can't stop.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, welcoming vibe, the kind that says, āYouāre safe hereā¦ and also, yes, guac is extra, but worth it.ā The staff was kind, the atmosphere was effortlessly cool, and the food? Letās just say my heart wasnāt the only thing getting filled that afternoon.
10/10 would recommend for anyone nursing a broken heart, a hangover, or just a mean craving for damn good Mexican food. Will absolutely be backā¦ maybe next time with a healed heart, but definitely still for the torta.

Does anything pair better with a broken heart than margaritas, chips, and an emotional debrief with a bestie? I didnāt think so, until I added a torta from Otro CafĆ© to the mix, and suddenly I was emotionally spiraling with flavor.
