Does anything pair better with a broken heart than margaritas, chips, and an emotional debrief with a bestie? I didn’t think so, until I added a torta from Otro Café to the mix, and suddenly I was emotionally spiraling with flavor.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, welcoming vibe, the kind that says, “You’re safe here… and also, yes, guac is extra, but worth it.” The staff was kind, the atmosphere was effortlessly cool, and the food? Let’s just say my heart wasn’t the only thing getting filled that afternoon.
Between the tangy margaritas, the crunchy chips that held my tears (and the salsa) like champs, and a torta so good it briefly made me forget who Beau even was, lunch at Otro Café might just be the best kind of therapy, without the $200 copay.
10/10 would recommend for anyone nursing a broken heart, a hangover, or just a mean craving for damn good Mexican food. Will absolutely be back… maybe next time with a healed heart, but definitely still for the torta.
We celebrated Father's day there...excellent service and always love the food.
Pure heat! Don't sleep on this place. Coffee next door is top 5 in the valley. Chilaqules interesting as its a little watery, that sounds bad but its good. Their salsa are insane good.
Got breakfast burritos. Solid
The food was delicious, and our waitress, was super helpful in making sure I’d be happy with my chilaquiles especially since I can be a little picky. I really appreciated her attentiveness!
Great food.

Love this place! Might be a wait (for Sunday brunch) but they usually have live music and the cafe next door has fun things to tie you over
I want to clarify that my experience regarding the food is based on what I ordered vs what I expected. I ordered Huevos Rancheros and I usually eat them with a golden corn tortilla and the photos I saw indicated it. Arriving at the restaurant, the menu description said that the eggs were served in quesadillas (I assumed corn quesadillas). They turned out to be flour quesadillas with a super thick tortilla and something sweet. The fried egg does not go, in my opinion, with the somewhat sweet quesadilla, the green sauce was a little sour, and the red sauce had a good flavor but lacked heat. The horchata was delicious and the pancake my husband ordered was very delicious and a very good size. That last comment plus the fact that the prices were not exorbitant is what earned them 3 stars.

Love this place! I’ve eaten here since it opened when it was only a small dining area and bar. Even through the expansion, the service and the food quality has remained fantastic. Delicious food (lovely Paloma) and wonderful service!

Strange. We hated the enchiladas and the chicken mole was not any good either.
But...the mixed vegetables were amazing and the bread pudding was fabulous
But, we don't plan to go back.

I visit the coffee shop every time I'm near Arcadia and the coffee is consistently delicious. The abuelita latte is phenomenal and the staff are super friendly. You should check out their Gelato too because it's incredible!

This place is heaven on earth and I cannot wait to go back to explore the menu. I highly recommend the pork belly hamburger, side salad AND papa fritas and their chicken tacos. The food was incredible. That pork belly had the perfect char yet melted with each bite. Fellas if you take a date here and she can not eat like the movie white chick's "you sure put that away little lady" she's not the one lol
The night vibe and lighting and the staff is just perfect 👌🏾

Over all, the wait time was short, they seated us within 25 min yet again it was only two of us. The food came out in record time it was at our table within 15 minutes which is why I don't understand why my wife's chilaquiles were cold and my food as well, I ordered the pancakes with sourdough bread bacon and eggs. The butter wouldn't even melt on the pancakes or the bread. They only thing that was hot on my plate was the bacon.

Picked this place out of a few pancake restaurants based on the good reviews, and I was not disappointed. The Cajeta Flapjack was fluffy and fresh, the toppings were delicious and came with plenty of syrups available. I chose the stack version and it was a lot of food even for someone with a big appetite. The servers were courteous and attentive, and the place was hopping.
Reasons I didn't give it five star:
- the added side bacon cost $6 and there wasn't that much of it, and most importantly not sizzling hot like home: I am probably spoiled...
- when paying by credit card, the waiter took the card away and came back with slips to sign, which isn't unusual. But I did just read up on credit card safety tips the night before, one of them was not to let the credit cards out of your sight in case of fraud. Now I realized that this is the great USA and this restaurant has a good reputation, so I didn't insist. But it would be better if they could bring the card terminal to the table or even let me pay at the register.
All in all this was a very good experience. I got there before opening and there were a few waiting already. Within half an hour the place was full, so get there early!
