Absolutely delicious brunch! The art is not the only reason to go to the museum. Will definitely be back!

For ~$90 a ticket, unfortunately a rough experience and would not recommend. Our server seemed extremely overwhelmed. Didn't get tea the first 45 minutes we were seated. Our tower was delivered to the wrong table and we had to ask our server when we would receive. Waited another 45 minutes and there was a missing item from the tower. Had to ask the manager twice and our server twice to bring the missing item. When the item was finally brought out, we were alerted they had given the wrong table the missing item.

I've been coming every year for several years now. This experience was not up to the usual level. I was honest with staff about it, and there were a number of mitigating circumstances (4 staff not showing up and a large party that came in 30 minutes early and insisted on a rush) that really impacted our experience this year. That said, they apologized and did everything they could to help. It's generally a great experience!

We had a lovely time at the Cafe before we went and walked the Museum. The coffee bar was excellent and the food was very tasty. The NCMA Café is an great choice for a relaxed & delicious meal.

The menu had definitely been changed since the last time I dined at the NCMA cafe. I appreciated the seasonal options. Service was splendid and the food, delicious! I am also glad I could finally book a reservation on OpenTable instead of calling into the cafe.

The menu at the NCMU cafe is very nice, with a good selection for vegetarians as well as meat eaters (unusual and welcome), and the food was attractive and well prepared. However, the service was agonizingly slow. They were clearly understaffed. Servers were very polite and correct, but were being rushed off their feet. I felt sorry for them. They deserve better. The unfortunate result for our party is that our lunch went on and on and on while we waited for each element of our orders. Getting coffee probably took 20 minutes. We left feeling tired out - but not as much as the poor wait staff.

The young servers were nice and professional. However, the food was not hot when delivered.

I've eaten here many times and it remains consistently good. They change up their menu often enough to keep it interesting. I'm not a fan of grits but I had the vegetable hash with grits and it was delicious. The servers couldn't be friendlier. It's a wonderful spot to catch a quick meal in between exhibits.

Great place, interesting menu, gluten free options. Service was wonderful, beautiful fresh roses at each table. A true gem!

My partner and I came for the quarterly art and dine event. Nice ambiance and allure. The dining selections were based of the current exhibition. I had to send some food back, but otherwise had a great time. Walking the museum after dinner was a treat. Depending on the exhibition and the paired experience, I would go back.

The food was very good and I think the menu is seasonal! I had the Smokestack Benedict with the seasonal primary colors salad. My granddaughter had the Baat Biscuit with grits. We enjoyed the meal and also seeing the artwork.

This is the fourth time I have eaten lunch at the NCMA Cafe. It's a great value. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent, Having lunch after taking in an exhibit is a perfect way to top off my visit.

Once my friend and I discovered the Cade' at the NCMA we have been going at least once every couple of months. The food is marvelous, and we love that they change up the menu, so you can always experience new selections. Such a delightful way to enjoy great food, great company, and enjoy the ambiance of the museum! Even if you dine alone, it is still a wonderful experience.

burger was great with Havarti cheese. French fries were thin and krispy. We loved the fried green tomatoes. Shrimp and Grits were outstanding.
