Terrible customer service & very rude.

This was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with a pizza place.
I ordered a large one-topping pizza and gave all the required delivery information. Instead of reaching out properly when the driver got lost, they simply gave up and voided my order — without informing me at all.
When I called the store an hour later to ask what happened, I spoke with Brian, the manager, who was not only unhelpful, but downright rude. I’ve worked in customer service, so I understand how tough the job can be, and I always approach these situations with respect — but I was met with sarcasm and defensiveness.
Brian’s exact words were: “If you would’ve answered the phone, you could’ve had your pizza by now. Instead, you’re calling an hour later.” No apology. No ownership. No attempt to fix the issue. Just blame.
When I asked to speak to someone else, I was told: “I’m the only person in the store, so you can’t talk to anyone else.” This is unacceptable. Basic customer service skills were completely lacking, and any sense of empathy or accountability was nonexistent.
I’m angry and extremely disappointed. I will never order from this location again, and based on this, I’m seriously questioning Papa John’s standards as a company. Do better.

Great service, as always, they've come to know me. Many times I walk in. I don't even have to give him my name. They already know what Pizza to give me. Would recommend

Whether it's a carryout or delivery, Brian at this Papa John’s consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our orders are just right. From adding the much needed plates, extra cheese and those essential pepper packets, to the careful attention he pays to every detail, we always receive our food exactly how we want it. In an age where good customer service is often overlooked, Brian’s dedication stands out. His commitment to excellence, consistency and customer satisfaction deserves to be recognized, period! This review is a small token of appreciation for someone who brings quality and care to every order. Thank you, Brian :) you’ve made us loyal fans not just of the pizza, but of your service!!! Cheers

We placed an order for delivery earlier the driver when he got to the house he demanded a tip from us more so the delivery order wasn’t right so I called the store to speak with the store manager, he stated his name was Jesus. He was very rude very mean and did not help with our situation at all. I will never come to your store on 83rd and Camelback ever again. I’ve never in my life been treated so bad.
This was, hands down, the most disgusting excuse for pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve had better from Little Caesar’s and they’re barely passable. I’m furious I wasted $45 on what can only be described as pure trash.
The pizza was revolting, the papadilla tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours, and the so-called boneless wings? Not wings. Just dry, tasteless, chewy chicken nuggets. There was absolutely nothing enjoyable about this meal except for the brownie, which was the only decent item in the entire order.
I’m beyond disappointed and honestly disgusted. I’ll never order from this place again.

Horrible pizza…
Order online for delivery.Pizza was cold dry and burnt. Never again.
8 bread sticks & 2 of those were 3” so really only 7, suppose to be 10, guess we have to pay for Super Bowl orders. Chicken Alfredo had like 1/4 of grease sitting on top.
Great Papa Johns. Got order perfect. The guys at the store were cool. Definitely coming back.
The cheese and toppings are not cooked enough but anymore and the crust would be burned. All the toppings were put under the cheese so they couldn't cook right even if the top and bottom of the pizza had been cooked evenly. I don't have the slightest idea of how to salvage this pizza. The garlic knots are over cooked without any sauce on them. I think they put the sauce in the container prior to putting in the burnt bread. $40 BUCKS DOWN THE DRAIN. The next time I want pizza I need to go across town.
