Papa Johns Pizza

I ordered a medium pizza with 5 kinds of meat plus anchovies on it. We had to literally hunt to find the meat and the anchovies and the pizza was barely edible. We threw most of it out.

The last few times we didn't have a good experience. Pizza was not good

My delivery took way too long. I was told an estimated time of 35min. After 56 min I called and asked if I should just pick it up myself. I was told there was an issue with the driver. The driver told me they were busy picking up other orders they were scheduled. I don't think it was the drivers fault. The pizza was perfect and exactly what I ordered.

Horrible experience. Blonde girl at the counter was so rude to us. First we got the wrong order and when we tried to rectify the issue, we were berated and insulted. I will never be back. Looking at most recent reviews, this looks like a pattern. With the restaurant culture the way it is, I wouldn’t be surprised if this location closes within the year

It took us so long to get the items billed that we wanted to order. Then we realised the cashier giving us a huge bill. On intervening and trying to explain we got it down. But the experience was bad and lot of time was wasted

I do doordashing and I came to this location twice tonight, Sunday June 29th, 2025. The first time that I came to pick up an order for a customer, I was greeted by a young man who was very polite and told me that it was going to be a few more minutes for my pizza. When those few minutes were up he in fact cut my pizza put it in a box and handed it to me so I could deliver it to my customer. I was immediately sent back to Papa John's for a second order that night for a customer who had two pizzas to pick up. When I arrived a young lady wearing glasses and having reddish brown hair told me that it would be about 4 more minutes for the pizzas to be cooked. No problem! After those 4 minutes were up, I hear her yell for the only other employee I see there, a brunette girl named Heather and she proceeds to tell Heather that she's dropped the pizza. Not once did this young woman turn around to tell me, knowing that I was there to pick these pizzas up that it was in fact the pizza I was waiting for that had fallen to the ground. No, they proceeded to remake the pizza and then after the pizza was in the oven for a minute or two she came over to tell me that it was going to be another 5 minutes. When I questioned her and said I'm confused when I arrived you told me four and now the 4 minutes are up and you're telling me five? Her reply was, we had to remake it. While I stood there, honestly kind of in shock because no one had said anything to me or let me even know so I could confirm with my customer that it was going to be a longer wait now, everyone ignored me. No one made eye contact with me, the young woman who had given me another 5 minute wait didn't look at me the whole time and none of the three employees came to apologize. When the 5 minutes was up, and she made sure to take her sweet time so it was really more like six or seven minutes, she put the pizza in a box handed them both to me and just walked away. She didn't have any customer service she didn't have any ability to apologize for the fact that she had made a mistake and it would be a few minutes, which I would have been completely fine with. This girl clearly does not understand what customer service looks like and if Heather's the manager, you need to train your employees much better! This is a reason why I never eat at Papa John's personally. Food is trash, service is trash.

Last pizza was the last straw. They pass their deliveries off to door dash. Door dash person didn't knock, just left my food on the ground by my door and left.

This location cannot slice a pizza to save their life. Worst sliced pizza I have ever seen.

I typically always have a good experience when I order from Papa John’s off of Thunderbird & 40th St. Tonight was a different situation. I always ordered my usual a large stuffed crust pepperoni pie and I was told the delivery would be around 40 to 45 minutes. I set my timer on my iPhone, and I never got that knock on the door that I typically get when the food has arrived. I decided to call Papa John’s and woman picked up the phone who looked up my order and said it was delivered sometime ago. That made no sense whenever I’ve ordered from them every single time someone always knocks on the door or you get that phone call saying I can’t find your apartment. None of those things happen so I opened the door looked down on top of the concrete and there was my cold pizza and thank goodness it didn’t have bugs on it because it was out there for quite a while and this is the time of year bugs are running rampant in the warm season. Then the girl who I spoke to on the phone defended the situation and said ever since she’s been working here that’s what they do. They leave the food on the doorstep. That couldn’t be more incorrect from my observations. I’ve never had anyone not knock on the door since I’ve ordered from this location. So yeah that was not cool. Really poor Customer Service in my opinion and of course I left a 20% credit card tip to the driver just my luck WTF !!! The customer service rep who picked up the phone claims they credited my account for another pizza for another day but now I’ll be more leery since they have changed their rules and they’re now just dropping stuff on the floor, hoping that you are constantly checking for the piece of delivery.

At 5 PM, I called to order a pizza to be delivered at 6:15 PM. Pizza did not arrive. I tried calling at 6:40 PM to check the status of order. I was on hold for 10 minutes. When someone finally picked up, I was hung up on. I ended up having to drive down to the store. When I arrived, I was told that the pizza was not supposed to be delivered until 7 PM. I looked at the sticker on the box and it said 6:15 PM. Pizza was cold when I arrived at home.

Really good service! The pizza was delicious for sure and I will definitely return!

Lived in the area for 15 years probably bought two times from them. Every time I do the advertisements never matches with the local store?? The pizzas honestly taste like a sugar pellet. It seems like they just put a ton of sugar into that thing more than other places

Shawn J was very nice and is very friendly. Everytime I go to this store I get great service from everyone.
