The proportion of food for the price was small. Islanders like to eat. This was too small to feed one.

I seriously loved this food. My family came in from out of town (Colorado) and was craving some Hawaiian BBQ. The owners are Korean so there is Korean twist if you will and IT. WAS. BOMB. Ordered the teriyaki chicken, katsu, chincharron, garlic shrimp and they gave us a free churros 😍 I can’t say enough! 5 stars will return!

The food here is okay but not very flavorful. I'll be honest.y go-to place for Hawaiian barbecue around the downtown area is at Loco Style Grindz at the Churchill. Now that Hawaiian barbecue. The customer service here is great and the people running the place are very nice as well. There are other options for this type of food elsewhere.

Needed a place to cater for lunch. It was perfect. The service is amazing and all food was hot and ready when we arrived. They were very friendly and didn’t mind us taking over their restaurant to eat.

I was born and raised in Maui, Hawai'i and this place is one of the only places in the state that taste like home besides Aloha Kitchen & Kahu in Tucson. I went here for years at the Tempe location and miss it every day. I've never felt so close to home besides when I walked through these doors.

Wanted to love this place. Small family owned business. But for the price they don’t give much food. The flavor is good, but I was left still hungry. Ordered the Paradise 1 and a chicken musubi. Both are very expensive and leave you hungry afterwards.

This place used to be pretty good but the quality has definitely slipped.

Great food, we had a big group outside right after they closed looking for somewhere else to go, and they started up the kitchen again and invited us in. Incredible service, pricing and food

The food was phenomenal, the only complaint is the portion sizes, seemed a little unfair for the price but other than that it was delicious

S K I M P central!!! I used to go here all the time and was impressed with their macaroni salad. Now, I can only get 1/4th of the amount for the SAME price!? They went up on their price of spam musubi but the quality and taste of the spam has gone down tremendously!
Their plates are smaller and more expensive, not to mention they fired the entire staff after changing new owners instead of doing us all a favor and ceasing operations.

They just changed their Macaroni Salad portions to pretty much half the order??? And the spam is way thinner with the same amount of rice on the spam musubi???
Been coming here for 2 years and this is pretty disappointing considering the recent change in staff
