I never considered giving Pete's fish and chips a review before because they are consistent. If I review something it's usually triggered by something outside of the normal positive or negative experience. Add Pizza it's always standard issue 5-star everything.

Meh... I thought it was going to be real fried fish. My friend said it looked like a fried men's wallet. I was disappointed ?. The square fish was hard. The shrimp? Never had this type of shrimp before. I ate it because I was hungry and spent $12. Oh yes! Cash only! It cost me an additional $5 to get money from the ATM there. It was not for me. Someone must like it they have 9 restaurants.

For those seeking traditional fried fish and chips, please choose another restaurant. Fish comes out looking like it's from McDonald's and doesn't have much flavor. I was completely thrown off by this being from the Midwest. Service was good but the food was not.
