Pho Laveen Vietnamese Cuisine

I visited Pho Laveen at about 7pm on a Tuesday night and this tiny place was packed.
I ordered the pho combination and it was great. Plenty of meat was added. It didn't take long to get my food which was surprising considering the amount of people here at the time. The staff was friendly. I think my total came to 17$ and some change.

You guys can do better than this. The banh mi's here used to be the best in South Phoenix and I was proud to say it.

What I got today looked like a toasted hot dog bun, this is a far cry what it used to be. This is supposed to be a baguette not a hot dog bun, especially for $13. Please don't go down this road you guys used to be my favorite.

The broth is incredibly rich and flavorful, and the noodles are always perfectly cooked. The fresh herbs and tender meat just add to the amazing experience. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out on some seriously good pho!

Didn’t think the food was gonna be good because the menu isn’t targeted towards Vietnamese people but the pho tai, egg rolls, and spring rolls were actually good. The broth was good, and the meat was tender and cut well. Expensive though

My sister April brought me here to have lunch. I thought O it’s another Pho!
No way! It’s like my grandmother authentic pho broth. I kid you not!! Newy (our youngest sis) ordered a stir fried egg noodle!! Unbelievable tasty!! The service was friendly and quick. Our food came out shortly. Wished we have one like this in FL!!! Love love every bit of it!! I want more. Told April this is our GoTo place whenever we’re in town!!!

Really INjoyed the food but the place could use a Major Deep Cleaning. Though it maybe busy ALWAYS, ALWAYS take time to clean your atmosphere (tables, floors, windows, bathrooms, condiments, that you refill the bottles on the table that you dont throw away. Even those should have a shelf life. Also you have to stay attentive, eye asked for a mug of hot water from the coffee mug ( eye put my silverware in it before utilizing) and the first server NEVER brought it to me, eye had to attempt to track down someone else to assist with it. Everything seemed rushed from the service down to how quickly they dropped your food off and disappeared to you almost feeling like you were bothering them by asking for something. A place runs on more than just good food!!!!! Then eye paid for my nourishment and the waiter shorts me $2.13, wasn't cool. Did the math right there and showed him on the calculator. Do better!

Service is horrible. I just went today and yeah they were backed up but our waitress didn't let us know until almost after an hour of waiting for our appetizers. Not sure if it was racism but a Vietnamese couple we saw enter 30 min later after us got their appetizers before us. Don't think we'll be coming back here.

Why don't you update info to indicate place is no longer open. Tried to go there numerous times over the last few weeks the place continues to collect more dust and dirt every time I pass by

They've been closed for two months now because the older staff needed a break. I've missed it for the last two months, but it was well worth the wait. The staff are working hard being back day 1. It's so busy the wait for my food was an hour. I would wait another two hours if I had to. I just finished the chicken stir fry noodles and chicken pho. It was spectacularly divine honestly the best pho in the valley. The absolute best soup for fall season. The two front staff are working hard for the amount of people ordering. Please be kind and if you don't want to wait long for spectacular food then visit in about a month or two when things have slowed down.

This place is CLOSED until November 1st. Not a true review but really wanted to share just in case anyone shows up like me from out of town or on a lunch break. No signs on door but fortunately bumped into employee who informed me. Says they have been closed for 2 months and are unable to change times on Google nor Website. Only one post about closure 2 months ago in "Updates" section by owner, but highly doubt most people would check that when just entering it into Maps. Hopefully will be able to come back next month.
