Pie Snob always lives up to its reputation for making some truly delicious creations. My go-to favorites are the key lime, the apple, and the pecan pie. I’ve also tried the cheesecake and a handful of their other offerings, and honestly, I’ve never had anything that wasn’t excellent.
I usually bicycle over, grab a bite, and every now and then—especially around the holidays—I’ll pick up a whole pie to take home and share with friends and family. The staff is always friendly, and you can tell they stay busy: the moment they finish helping one customer, they’re either packing boxes or heading to the back where all the magic happens.
They also offer ice cream and drinks, and the place is generally quiet, with good music and open-air windows. It has that old-school charm where you can pop in, get what you need, or just sit for a bit and enjoy a moment with a friend.
I’m always happy to recommend great local spots, and this is definitely one of them—so if you’re ever in the area, stop by and have a bite.

They had a large choice of whole pies and slices. It was very reasonable. And they have a refrigerated vending machine upfront, where you can get pie at two a m.If you want.
Well the name got me right off the bat. Although I never considered myself a pie snob, I supposed I could be. I do love pie. So I decided to give this pie a try.
Now that I have, here's my dilemma: I love the idea of an independent pie shop. I love the idea of a small business in a valley filled with big box stores and franchises. But I also like really good pie.
At Pie Snob, I got the apple crumb and it was very good. It was flavorful. And very cinnamony. But was it worth $7 a slice? Ah, money is always there to ruin any good relationship.
Whether $7 for a piece of pie is a lot of money to you may be best decided between you and your financial advisor. (Presumably if you can afford $7 for a piece of pie you have a financial advisor. Either that or you have so much money it doesn't matter if you squander away big chunks of it making bad financial decisions.)
On the down side, the Pie Snob apple crumb pie was far more crust and crumble than apple filling.
In the name of taste testing, a day or two later, I happened to be in a Safeway where a combination of a sale price and the ever present digital coupons provided me with the opportunity to buy a 10 oz. Marie Callender apple pie for $1.50.
Granted, the regular Safeway price is probably four bucks but what I paid is what I paid. So I took Marie Callendar home and baked it in the oven at the required temperature for the required time and found myself with an apple pie that was probably not quite as good as pie snob. But I can't say that Pie Snob was three times better--probably not even two times better. In fact, it was probably just a little better.
So as much as I hate to say it, since I’m picking Marie Callender, I guess it's safe to say I'm not a pie snob after all.

If only the vending machine had more than 2 options, both close to 4 days+
I'll be honest... I'm here more than I should be. This is my guilty pleasure. I keep cheating on my salads and workouts with their pie ATM. Great business concept. Put a vending machine with pieces of pie in it 2 blocks away from a gym and a weed store?!?!
What can go wrong?
I've never gone inside so can't say anything about the staff. But the pie ATM is brilliant and beautiful. I would vote for this thing if it ran for mayor.

Key lime pie is excellent. First time there. Pie was expensive at $30 but I finished it by myself in 3 days and was very happy.

Straight up amazing cake!!!!!
I ordered a pie days in advance for father's day, when I picked it up at my scheduled time, it wasn't finished, they handed it to me without the whipped topping g on it, the new, young girl at the register was very apologetic and said she would remake it, which surprised me because I know it takes quit some time to remake a banana cream pie, so I asked how long, since I was to meet my dad in 15 minutes from then to give him his pie. And a woman came around d the corner, got very sassy with me, pointed her finger in my face and told me I need to be patient, that they have new people there, I was shocked, I was embarrassed, i was upset that i had given theae people a hefty price for a pie that was much smaller than when i last ordered from there, and worse, it wasn't even finished, the fact that the woman yelled at me like I was a child was so unsettling to me, when I asked her name, she said my name is Sherry, and you can let them know I'm the bakery manager!! So, with all this said , I would never, ever order from this business again!!! Beware, don't give these people your hard earned money, only ro be treated so poorly!!!
Delicious homemade pies!!!
I've had the White Chocolate Blueberry Cheesecake and the Blue Hawaiian Cheesecake. Both were very good...The Blue Hawaiian Cheesecake was the best Cheesecake I've ever had!!
