Website on yelp says they close at 11 PM. We arrived around 9:55 PM if they close at 10 they should have at the very least greeted us and inform us and we would have left instead we were met with extremely rude service. The server made us feel unwelcome and basically kicked us out, even though it was well before closing time.

This was our first experience here and unfortunately it left a very bad impression. Definitely not coming back.

Went here with a group of four to catch up, and unfortunately the hostess completely ruined the experience. I asked if this was the correct bar and instead of answering, she immediately responded with “how many?”…no greeting, no confirmation, no basic courtesy.

We waited about 25 minutes just to be seated, and were placed at the bar, which wasn’t what we wanted. The entire point was for the four of us to talk and catch up, not sit shoulder-to-shoulder at the bar. I politely asked an employee if it was possible to move to a table. He checked with the hostess and was told no, then suggested I ask her myself because “she might say yes,” which was awkward and unnecessary.

The bartender was genuinely kind and tried to improve the experience, which I appreciated. But the hostess’s attitude overshadowed everything. Everyone has bad days, but when you’re the first point of contact, that energy sets the tone. Management should seriously address this.

Haven't been here in years, but even though it is slightly remodeled, it still has the same amazing atmosphere. My friend and I shared two drinks off of the Winter Wonderland Cocktails; Eggnog and Peppermint Pick Up. Both were amazing!!!

First of all I cannot understate the quality of the service I received. Eulalio had other tables, but we consistently got our drinks and food quickly without errors, even when they were on the complicated side. He is a true boon to the business!

The restaurant itself is hidden inside another called Coabana, but there is a door clearly labeled Cocktails to get to it. Through the door the hustle and bustle of the busy restaurant outside gives way to a cocktail bar that feels much more intimate, with dark lighting and quieter music than is playing outside. It was perfect to converse and enjoy drinks with friends!

This time we went with some friends, and each of us could not stop talking about how good everything was! We started with In To The Blue shots for the table, which were so good we wished we had sipped them. Then we ordered our first round of drinks and food. We shared a plate of nachos and they had the perfect balance of toppings and chips, then my partner and I ordered some tacos and a Cubano Sammie. The sandwich was delicious, much better than the average Cubano I've come across in Phoenix. The tacos were also great, and $11 for 3 was a steal! Our friends also got tacos, which they enjoyed.

My partner ordered Cupid's Dagger and the Insomniac to drink, and she loved both of them! Cupid's Dagger was also served with a bubble of smoke and it was on a little silver tray, which was cool. I ordered the Son of a Peach and Femme Fatale, and they were both delicious. The Femme Fatale was also served inside of a wooden cake tray filled with smoke, which was a very cool experience and added to the flavor of the drink.

All in all this is not just a restaurant, but an experience. And if you have some money to go out in downtown Phoenix, I would say this experience is not one to miss! If you can, try to get a table with Eulalio because he is excellent

Stopped into Pigtails Cocktail Bar with a group of 11 while celebrating a friend’s birthday, and I’m so glad we did. The vibe was super chill, and we lucked out with a booth tucked in the back corner - perfect for our crew.

I ordered the Sticky Situation (mezcal, mango, piment, lemon, coconut) and it was absolutely delicious - bright, citrusy, and refreshing with just the right balance of smoke and sweetness. Easily one of my favorite cocktails of the night.

Service was top-notch. Our waiter brought great energy, kept the waters flowing right when we sat down, and checked in often without ever hovering. Even one of the bartenders got in on the fun - I was doing a scavenger hunt and needed to tell a stranger a joke, and he happily played along.

We only stayed for a round before heading to our next stop, but I’d definitely go back. Between the unique drinks, friendly staff, and cool vibe, this spot is a gem in Phoenix. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re nearby!

Loved this place! They were able to accommodate our large party of 10 even though it was a speakeasy which was awesome. The drinks were so tasty. I had the “Down the Rabbit Hole” which was my favorite but I tried several other drinks from my friends and they were all good. Also, the bartenders were so nice and friendly. Would definitely come back!

We rolled up to Pig Tails for the first time and walked right into a little secret literally walking through the dish washing area to get to the speakeasy vibe. If you love the thrill of finding a hidden spot, this place nails it. The setup is unassuming from the outside, but the moment you step through, you’re greeted by a smooth, curated mood that says “you’re in for something special.”

The space itself feels right for a grown up night out low lighting, real wood, and that quiet energy you get in a room where people are there to enjoy good drinks with friends or family. Speaking of which, we met up with some family and turned what could have been a casual meetup into a proper mini celebration. The mood stayed relaxed, the conversations flowed, and the whole night had a comfortable, intimate vibe like you found a hidden gem you’re not in a hurry to share with too many people.

Now the drinks. Presentation was on point from the first pour to the last drop. Each cocktail looked like a little work of art, and you could tell the team put thought into every layer, garnish, and glassware choice. Taste matched the hype: bold, balanced, and inventive without tipping into gimmicky. It wasn’t about chasing trends; it was about delivering craft and character in every sip.

The staff were confident and easygoing, guiding us through the menu with solid recommendations and a pace that let us enjoy the moment without feeling rushed.

Bottom line: Pig Tails is a hidden gem worth seeking out for a night with family or friends where you want seriously good drinks, smart presentation, and a cool, low-key speakeasy vibe. We left with full stomachs, happy hearts, and a plan to be back soon. If you’re in the mood for something a little off the beaten path with big flavor, this is the spot.

We stopped here after the Diamondbacks game and made it just in time for their Happy Hour. We were seated immediately. Our servers were super quick and processed. The cocktails are always fun and unique. The oysters were fresh and delicious! The atmosphere was fun, and it was a lovely experience.
