This is really disappointing to write, but Pitic has gone downhill a lot. The food quality and service have tremendously declined over the years. This is now the second time I’ve gotten food poisoning after eating here. The first time I wasn’t sure if it was from this location, but after getting sick again, it’s clear where it came from.
What makes it hurt even more is that I grew up coming to this restaurant. My parents used to bring me here, and it was always one of my favorite places. Sadly, it’s obvious that the care, cleanliness, and attention to food quality are no longer the same.
Freshness and food safety should never be ignored, and that’s exactly what it feels like is happening now. I truly hope management takes this seriously because no one should be getting sick from a place they trust to eat at.

Went to have lunch, and while my mother in law and I are eating our meal a see a roach walking across the table. We notified the waitress and she asked what would you like me to do, my mother in law asked to speak wuth management. She walked over and apologized and offered a $10 gift certificate, she didnt even comp our meal. My mother in law had to pay full price after observing where the roach came from we noticed the walls and vase boards were filthy! Very disappointed that we had to pay for a meal we didnt finish! Also after we lost our appetite after watching the uninvited guest walk across the table! They also didnt remove he roach they left it on the table. I had killed it with a napkin so they can see it, but no one picked it up... crazy right!

I had ordered food through the online order cause I was hearing good things about this restaurant on TikTok so i thought I would give it a try. When it can to my door I opened the bag it was horrible it looked like whoever cooked it or boxed it up just threw my food into the box. The enchilada was so greasy and merged with sauce and there was no beans and the steak ugh was on top of the enchilada and full of fat i threw it away worst experience ever

I've eaten here a few times. It's gotten better each time. Beans, salsa and other hispanic dishes that mom and abuela used to make. I'm not in this area often but when I am, I do swing by here and offer friends to try out.
The food is good. It's consistent. I would say the beans and salsas are delicious. The service was top notch. Our waitress was Betty. She was extremely professional and courteous. My favorite thing to get are the shredded beef tacos. They're a classic choice, crispy and flavorful. This place isn't fancy; however, you can tell Yvette the owners put in some effort to make it feel special.
