Pomeroy's is a gem and a legacy to have in Phoenix. When we want to meet all our friends and have a great time and not worry about anything, we go to Pomeroy's. The service is not stellar but they're not always that busy which makes them great because you can go there and know that it's not going to be busy.

Dive bar with totally blacked out windows that doesn't carry Corona.

Place itself is cute, bar tender is a smart ass. They charge for shuffle board but the board is literally at a tilt and all the pucks are broken.
Pomeroys is an old style bar where people are treated like friends or family. It’s got excellent bar food, isn’t five star fancy food, but it’s hardy, tasty and made fresh.
Bartenders are competent and occasionally there’s a waitress but most of the time you go up and order your own drink. There are pool tables, dartboards, shuffleboard and a few video games.
It has one of the best local bar feels to it and once you walk in the door and it closes behind you it’s a hometown bar that could be anywhere in the United States. It’s a place to meet friends and family when you just wanna get out of the house and hang out.
I’ve been going there, (35+ years) off and on for ever and it’s always the same feel and vibe.
It isn’t trendy it’s traditional. It’s the type place that if you’re a little homesick, this place feels like home.

Terrible service, food and atmosphere. The windows are literally blocked out. Staff is miserable and feel more like prison guards

This is a hidden gem in North Central Phoenix. Coldest beer in town and super great people serving its customers.

Friendly vibe, lots of entertainment. Go here after work to play pinball. Food available before midnight and lots of sitting space, pool tables, darts! Bar of dreams
1st time here & came to shoot pool. A pool table opened up pretty quick. Bartender was great! And the customers were friendly which was an added bonus.
