The bartender with the little man complex seemed to be already upset as soon as coming in on Saturday , he was so concerned with his girlfriend bartender he treated us so unprofessional as if he was in protection of his girlfriend. Maybe it's best they don't work the same shift??asking for a friend

The bouncer was tweaking on drugs and had a panic attack. He was so rude and would not let us in even though the bar was pretty empty. It was the most bizarre thing ever. None of us were drunk we just wanted to grab cocktails with friends.
Go to linger longers down the road instead. It was SO FUN! GREAT service. Fantastic spot. I hate pomeroys. Never going back.

Pom’s is my favorite dive bar in Phoenix! It has the touchtunes, HH deals & food. It’s also where the girls and i come after work to annoy Logan & Jason, the most amazing bartenders on earth. The zucchini sticks are my favorite!!!!!

The bartender with little man syndrome that won’t voice and document his complex with others appears to hinder the bar’s ability to make sales. I was attending an after party at Pomeroys and witnessed I little guy bartender tear after multiple groups without remorse or apology. Each party respected the wishes of the establishment but i was raised with a sense of right and wrong and this felt wrong. Pomeroys was one of my local favorites but if this is how they treat people, I cannot support them any more.

This place is the perfect non-pretentious, local bar. I go here because the bartenders are cool and genuine people, they have mega reasonable prices, and the menu kicks ass. It can get busy, but it's laid out really well, and you never really feel crowded. I also really enjoy the variety of people who show up. It's very geriatric during the day, Gen X/Millennial types in the late afternoon/evening, and college kids at night. I mostly like to go to the bar to sit in silence and watch sports on TV, talk a little with the bartenders, and eavesdrop on drunk conversations -- Pomeroys gets it done for me.
If you're into bar food, which is my s***, the menu is loaded. It's like elevated bar food with high quality stuff, some they make themselves and some they get from Costco, but it's all top tier. The patty melt, sliders, french dip, and hot dogs are big recommends. Also the sandwiches - they slice all their deli meats and cheeses themselves.
Vegetarian options: There isn't gonna be a lot for you if you're vegetarian, BUT -- the mozz sticks are the best on the planet, and they have other sides like zucchini sticks, fried mushrooms, etc. You won't be eating here for dinner, but there are snacks to be had.
Kid-friendliness: During the day, they are totally cool with kids here. They have a lot of games and what kid doesn't love some chicken tendies?
This place leaves me speechless every time I attend. There is no place like home when I am here. Talk about a local Phoenix dive bar with great food, music and drinks. The best of all are the bartenders. Danni and Ryan are a match made in heaven when it comes to being behind a bar;) They are so responsible and always give you the best time. If you ever are in need for the best food and a quick drink always stop by Pomeroy’s!

Haven't been back here for years, but will definitely make this a more frequent stop. Prices for food and drinks very reasonable, service good, and it tasted good. Good HH times and enjoy a very comfortable neighborhood bar. I've been visiting this place for over 30 years (met my realtor here and closed on my house in one of their booths). Yes, will be back to try something else.
