As someone who grew up down the street for Ponchos it was my favorite place to eat as a child. From walking there with my brothers to getting tacos to celebrating graduations and birthdays there in the restaurant. Ponchos was always the place to go. The last few times I've gone have been really disappointing. Yesterday's visit was probably the last time I'd ever step foot in the restaurant just due to the bad service. We were seating with no napkins, no utensils, and were left without drinks for over 15 minutes. My son whom had some salsa was crying for water and everytime the server passed us she ignored our empty glasses. This was true for all of the surrounding tables. After our food was served we asked for forks but they never came. We ended up having to go up to the bar tender to get some. I waited and waited for her to come to bring napkins and staws, that never happened either. When we were done she finally came and I asked for the check and 2 boxes. 15 minutes later I ended up flagging another waitress as at this point I was trying to get out. Just waiting on things to happen alone caused me to have an extra 30 minutes to the dinner. The check came and I out my card down. Another 10 minutes went by. Like seriously... I've been a waitress that doesn't happen to me. I went up to the front and had the manager run my card so I could leave. This isn't the first time this has happened at Ponchos. It's happened the last few times I've gone. I've waitresses for 5 years and I would never let people wait that long for things or not touch down with them for refills or silverware. Ponchos really might be falling off the map which really sucks because I used to love it there. I chose to go there for my Birthday dinner and I'm so disappointed on how things went.

The fajitas are good but too much sauce in it. Twice I've had it spill in my car. Just not packaged very good for a take out item

The hostess on Saturday 3/30 was HORRIBLE. She neglected to find a table for my husband and I. It took 20 minutes for us to be sitted. She sitted two other parties b4 us. Do BETTER ponchos.

We arrived at 12:11 had a 25min wait but got seated at 12:46.. We placed our order and waited another 30/35min. We ordered an open quesadilla as an appetizer and a couple combination plates.. Do you know our quesadilla was stolen by another waitress so we had to wait on another one but by that time it came out with our food which was too late cause we are full of soda, salsa & chips…! That’s only the 1/2 when our food comes out the waitress gonna say watch out the plate is hot…! Man that plate was warm at best my girls taco ? came out as one big clump of cheese ? and meat and the beans where hard and my guacamole ? had turned grey (old) on the outside from being under the heat lamp.. LOOK MY FOOD HAS TO BE HOT AND FRESH. Never again man this place has went downhill over the years.

Today my kids took me to ponchos and I haven't been there for a very long time and I ordered a number 9 combination and it was a red chili burrito rice and beans. I pulled out and it was a piece of a used glove they wear so they can't touch the food it was like worn out but it was in my food and I gave told the waitress the waitress just gave me new food. The meat tasted burnt and I didn't eat all of it. I was unhappy and you would think we wouldn't have to pay for it. Yeah right. Ill never go there again.

Just about everything is good here, but I usually stick with the simpler items and they never disappoint. Bean & cheese burrito, beef & bean burrito and 3-way burrito, cheese crisp, shredded beef taco, all bomb. If Bill Clinton eats there it must be good.
