It’s very upsetting because we always come to this location and don’t have any issues at all. The food is always delicious. We come here all the time well this time when we visited this location, we waited for an entire hour for a food. We’re already sitting eating all the chips and dip and bean dip for an hour and then when we said hey, like what’s going on they were like oh we didn’t know you were here so that they finally took our order and we didn’t get our food for another 30 minutes, of course, cause I had to make it, and then my son asked for no guac. They put extra guac on his. I told the waitress and she snatched the plate and while holding it over his head, she was like he did ask for Black and I was like just put the plate down like we’re not gonna argue about this, especially because she was all upset. The waitresses name was Isabella by the way and then when I got the bill, they added multiple other fees and then when I asked them about the fees, they said they do that for everybody so it was just overall really bad Customer Service and we brought it to the Manager Maria’s attention she just said she’s sorry and she’ll talk to Isabella about it so hopefully she does but so I’ll let you know about the awful service we had and I wish they were able to accommodate us better but the food was great like usual I probably just won’t come back for a while. The Goodyear location is amazing!

terrible service! manager called young host in the most seductive/disgusting manner. host is DEFINITELY PROTECT ED by him. food was good but the service needs to tighten up.

Worst restaurant I’ve ever dined in….menu’s are covered in dirty food, Ordered combo Fajitas for two….Completely disappointed, paid for a plate of onions

I feel like Arizona is losing a lot of her traditional, family owned, Sonoran Mexican food restaurants, and we are so happy to have found Popo’s. This place is a GEM! We will definitely be returning.

We tried the machaca - which was terrific - green chili - delicious with huge chunks of beef - cheese enchilada, and the queso bean dip. Our taste buds were dancing! So delicious! The salsa is also fresh and flavorful. ENJOY!

I’m 50 years old native to Peoria Az, and have been eating Popo’s religiously for over 35 years and I can promise everyone reading this comment I’ve tried every Mexican restaurant in the valley and can say Popo’s is the best #1 in Az, seasoned to perfection, rice & beans excellent with good flavor refried beans does not have that earthy taste, The red enchilada sauce has a creamy flavor and not tangy has some do, chips & salsa excellent, you won’t be disappointed…….

Always outstanding, try the monster burrito w/Baja sauce(cream chz & jalapeños) about the same price as the rest but I was eating it for 3 days, seriously huge & yummy as well. You can't go wrong here.

I was not happy that I payed with a Popos gift card and they come back saying the internet is down and can't take my payment method. What if that was all I had on me? And how did they take my credit card payment then?

I've been going to Popo's Fiesta Del Sol since I was a kid my parents, and all family go there as well. They are the best Mexican restaurant in my opinion. Anyone I've ever gone with there love it as well. The food, the margaritas are amazing. The staff are really nice.

We used to be a big fan of Popo's in Goodyear but after our experience last night it changed our perspective dramatically! The food portion were very small, the place was very dirty from plates to muggy glasses. I got a margarita from the bar that made me sick. It was about 90% sugary syrup in a dirty glass. Yes! I did leave it because it was gross. Usually when you see a change this bad in a restaurant its because management has changed. True story, we saw a older woman get sick their last night from the food and the staff put her on a chair and pushed her out the door asap!
