My jaw dropped when I drove up yesterday and saw the sign being removed. Prime has been a family standard stop since I moved into the area in 1991. It was my granddaughter's and grandson's favorite place when they came from Tempe for an overnight with Nana. Jenny taught them both to use chopsticks and always commented on how they had grown during their absence. But life must go on and I can hope hope that Jenny and her husband got a good deal that will provide them a comfortable and well-earned retirement. We will will miss you! Charline and family!

With sadness, but with great gratitude, I write to wish Jenny and her husband well in their retirement. They have led the way for decades with tasty and delicious Chinese food at this legacy location along Camelback Road just west of Central. So many memories, so many family gatherings around her large lazy-susaned round tables, and many lunches and small dinners at the booths. Rare to find such a gracious host, everything served lovingly and with such care. And when you weren't feeling well, one of her soups brought comfort and soothing relief. When i discovered that the light rail plans included a raised median, I worked to have it removed so that eastbound traffic could enter the parking lot, this a treasured spot that must have the best access possible. But the best of all was her glowing and welcoming smile, the glint in her eye, and her careful way. Some of my very favorites: * Warwonton soup * chicken noodle soup * Champagne chicken * Whole baked fish * Hot pot special dinner (Shrimp and vermicelli, fave!) Jenny, you will be missed!

My first time trying this restaurant. Beware the website prices are WRONG. I expected $8.50 lunch combo but was charged $10.50. BBQ pork fried rice got a thumbs up. Chicken and veg was okay, but sauce was bland also needs more veggies. Beef and broccoli was good, the beef made the dish.

Never had been here but decided to order lunch. They said 10 min till order was ready- I called in order. 30 min later it still wasn't ready. Looked like the cook/owner was more interested in unpacking their car full of restaurant groceries. I'm fine with waiting but don't say 10 min and have a much longer wait. When it had been so long and he was still unpacking his car I just decided to leave. Sorry.

Such a disappointment at the cost of $75. We ordered sizzling rice soup. The rice was just put into the soup and not sent in a separate container so that it remains crispy. We ordered 2 orders of house special chicken. I asked if it was similar to orange chicken and was told that it was but is a little spicy. WRONG..it was fried chicken pieces sitting on a brown, extremely salty gravy. Those 2 dishes were so bad they went straight to the trash can. The crab puffs were edible and had a good taste. The Mongolian beef that we also ordered was good. So we were only able to consume half of that $75 order. We will not be revisiting this place.

All I have to say is they use real lo mein noodles not spaghetti. True to east coast Chinese I grew up with. Will be back soon. Friendly hostess and fast service.

I eat here at least once a week for lunch. Anytime I am working in Phoenix, I stop by! They are the nicest people, their food is amazing! The Mongolian beef is the best in the valley! I live 45 miles from this restaurant. It’s really that good!

Nice little hole in the wall restaurant. Authentic Chinese cuisine. Wife is the host/waitress (very sweet Asian lady) and the husband the chef I believe. As such, need to be patient if there's a crowd, but usually not an issue. Try it out! It's a Phoenix staple as far as I'm concerned. Rec. dishes: sweet n sour chicken, crispy pan fried noodles, wonton soup, chicken wings, Mongolian beef, and braised tofu. But really can't go wrong!

This is my favorite Chinese Food place. Great for take out. It's never crowded and almost feels like they might not make it. We get the Hot and Sour Soap which has great flavor, and get the Mongolian Beef and Yuishan Chicken. Please try it and help me and their other fans keep them open and help them prosper. You'll be happy you did ...

Been coming here for years, best Chinese food in Phoenix. The service can be slow because there's only the husband and wife that works there. So go in relax hang out with some friendly people and enjoy some amazing food!

Best chinese food in PHX. Delicious, food. My favorites are the Kung Pao Chicken and the shrimp fried rice, the shrimps are hugh and yummy in my tummy. The couple who owns the restaurant are super nice and provide great service. Don't forget to ask for a side of chili oil if you like it extra spiciness.

Literally a mom and pop restaurant. Great option if you don't want the typically greasy Chinese food. Mongolian beef is a good first meal to try. The eggplant was also tasty.

Look at that duck!!! Recommend by friends. We obviously live under rocks and have never been here. But now we are found. Tried Korean beef with Kim chee, Peking duck and vegetables delight. They gave us a cookie! We will be back.
