Very good bread
Your bread and everything is great. It's not the weather that keeps me away, it's the prices. Just too expensive.
Amazing sourdough products. Friendly service and great atmosphere in the Sheaborhood. I've been coming to PROOF since they opened years ago in Mesa, and they get better and better!
The best sourdough products in the State! We found Proof Bread at the market years ago and love that you’ve expanded to several bakeries around town. My husband was there again this morning picking up a Khorasan loaf and two Salted Rosemary Twists. Delicious 😋
Proof bread is easily the best in the valley. We live close to another well known local bakery and make the trek to Proof because it’s that much better. The cheddar Jalepeno loaf will change your life and their pizza is to die for. Don’t forget to get something sweet like a danish or Boston cream croissant!
I LOVE Proof. I frequent the location on 32nd & Shea, and has a gluten free person (not celiac though!) I can’t get enough of their sourdough breads and sourdough croissants, it truly feels like I can eat REAL bread again, and my stomach actually somehow feels better afterwards (lots of probiotics in fresh sourdough). They’re my absolute favorite bakery, and they’re always putting out fun new croissants, focaccia pizza and I buy a ham + cheese croissant every single time I go in the morning, they’re to die for. Check them out!!!!
We are so lucky to have these folks in the Valley! They do magical things with sourdough and the Staff are all genuinely lovely people :) I especially love the sourdough english muffins - they freeze beautifully. I've had great results with freezing all of their breads which is great for stocking up. And the cookies too - holy moly are they divine! I cut them into quarters & freeze them so I can grab a piece whenever I want a little treat. Trust me, you want to stop by one of their neighborhood locations and stock up!
Absolutely THE BEST bakery in all of Arizona!!
Best French bread and French loaf I’ve had outside of Paris.

All I can say is I have had crescents in Italy and these are better !

I’ve been eating Proof bread since it came out of a garage! I’ve watched them grow and have enjoyed many, and most of the goodies they make!

The pastries and bread are always ABSOLUTELY delicious! Jon and Amanda are some of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. The bakery has such a warm homey feel as soon as you walk through the doors! Proof will forever provide bread and pastries for my family. If you’re looking for delicious bread/baked goodies, and amazing people, Proof will forever have your heart! 10/10 RECOMMENDED?

First off, the tables were dirty, which made sitting down uncomfortable. On top of that, I noticed flies hovering around the bread, which is completely unacceptable for a bakery claiming to be high-end. It really ruined my appetite. To make matters worse, the prices are ridiculously high for what you’re getting. I don’t mind paying more for quality, but there’s no justification for these prices given the lack of cleanliness and attention to detail.

I was really excited to try Proof Bread on Shea, but I left feeling disappointed. The croissants are incredibly small for the price, and honestly, not worth it. While I expect artisan bakeries to have higher prices, the size of their pastries doesn’t justify the cost at all. It’s hard to understand why everything is priced so high. I wanted to love this place, but it feels like you’re paying more for the brand name than the actual product. Definitely not coming back unless they adjust their prices or offer better value for money.
