L'ambiance était un peu bizarre à l'arrivée mais en parlant avec la serveuse, nous avons compris pourquoi : on venait de leur annoncer la fermeture définitive du restaurant.

I was extremely disappointed as booked this restaurant at 4:30 to receive 1,000 open table points. I was at at a production at Phoenix Theater which was supposed to end at 4:15 and would have given me ample time to reach the restaurant. Unfortunately, the play started late and was not over until 4:30. As a courtesy, I called Pubblico to advise them we would be about 15 minutes late. The hostess changed my reservation to 4:45 and I did not get my 1,000 points ... just 100. Frankly, I am wondering if it paid to be thoughtful. If I had never called Pubblico to let them know, they would have kept my reservation at 4:30 and I would have gotten the 1,000 points. By the way, the restaurant was just about empty when we arrived. There was no need to change my time. It has left a bad impact on me and I am not sure if I will ever frequent Pubblico again.

Wow, what an interesting experience! Our server was excellent--prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. We started with cocktails; the Old Fashioned was fantastic. For our appetizer, we had the Shrimp Scampi, which was delicious. We ordered the Carbonara and the Cioppino for our main courses, and both were great. I would highly recommend the Cioppino, which was a special. Overall, everything was wonderful until we were nearing the end of our bottle of wine. Here's where things took a turn: We made a reservation for 6:45 and were seated promptly. However, the entire meal was rushed--cocktails, wine, appetizer, salad, entrées, and dessert. Despite spending $224 for two people, at 7:43 (58 minutes into our reservation), a person we assumed was the manager approached us and said, "We have another party waiting for this table; if you would move to the bar"... I was taken aback, as we still had drinks and were less than an hour into our reservations. He then I think sensing our shock offered to buy us a drink if we moved to the bar... We left, leaving the wine behind, feeling quite dismayed. A $224 bill for two at a restaurant where the average meal is under $30, and being rushed out in under an hour, is simply unacceptable. This experience went from a potential 5-star review to 2 stars in an instant. If you're looking for a relaxing meal, you might want to consider dining elsewhere. But if you prefer a place where you'll be hurried through your meal and then asked to leave early, this is the spot for you!

It would be really freakin' awesome if your hours of operation actually matched those listed on your website and door.

We had a wonderful dinner at Pubblico last night. The service was excellent. The waitress was always on top of it and so was the person to refresh our drinks. We started with the appetizer of meatballs and it was absolutely delicious! Soft and not too ready the cheese and the polenta was cooked to perfection. I had one of the homemade pasta dishes and that was wonderful. My husband had the seafood risotto ,a little expensive (not the restaurants fault, inflation ) but he said it was really delicious. We topped it off with the chocolate flourless cake and ice cream and that was really very tasty. Overall, we had a great experience there and will definitely go again.

Tulio was the BEST part of the service!!! GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE!!! He was so attentive, so sweet and kind. I believe he was the busser but if you didn’t know you would think he was the waiter with how great he was.

Risotto muy malo, mucho tomate en pedazos y eso no es Risotto original, los otros platos aceptables, máquina de café no servía. Solo había una mesera h cuando llegaba más gente quedamos desatendidos.

Was served with a half filled glass of juice.
Please don't shame yourselves like this!
If you think that charging $3 for a glass of cranberry juice is not enough to fill it up so charge it $4 and fill it all the way up!
Shame on the bartender and much more shame on the waitress daring to bring it and serve it. It's an utter disrespect in any culture to serve half a filled glass of a drink to your guest! It's not a shot of hard alcohol, it's just a juice! I attach the photo of the glass as it was brought to the table...I was in a shock and literally had to ask the waitress to go back and fill it up. The table was also dirty and sticky, I had to put a cloth napkin and cover it.

The venue, service and food were excellent and the cost was reasonable given the location and quality. They do not to provide better signage. Never having been there before, it was unclear that the restaurant and it's entrance were located off a rear parking area. The one sign on 7th Street wasn't helpful - such a great place shouldn't be made so hard to find!

Great experience as usual... We haven't been to Publico in a bit, so I looked at my notebook I keep... "Calamari - To die for! Margherita pizza - excellent Sausage- pepper - mushrooms pizza mmmm good Can Coke!" So, that's what we had! Our server April, was on her "A" Game, and catered to our every whim~ Also, we dined on the Patio, and thier mister system made it very comfortable, for a 107° evening!

My daughter and I are visiting from New Hampshire. You were recommended to us so we decided to check you out! Everything was wonderful. We started w a half Ceaser and a half Arugula Salad and then shared a Margarita Pizza. Top notch. I had a watermelon cocktail that was delicious. Thank you! Next time we are in Phoenix we will visiting. Cheers!

Food was excellent. One of the best Salmon dishes I've had in a long time. Large portions. The cocktails were also impressive. We had a watermelon sugar drink and it was well presented. The restaurant is really pretty, it was hard to find and we passed it a few times. But happy we finally found it!
