Fantastic meal, wonderful staff, beautiful setting. A perfect balance of incentive and comforting, the food here is expertly crafted and served. Quiessence easily earned it's place in my mental list of "must done when in this city". This is a rare honor :)

This was our second time dining with Q at the Farm and we love it. The food is stellar, and the farm-to-table nature means that everything is fresh and vibrantly flavored. The service is really what puts it over the top, as the whole team is so kind and attentive to every aspect of the meal and experience. I especially appreciate the attention the team pays to my dietary restrictions, always delivering a delicious, balanced dish that doesn't leave me feeling like I'm missing out because of the ingredients I can't eat.

We celebrated my friends birthday with the Chef's Experience in the kitchen at Quiessence, and it was nothing short of incredible! 4 1/2 hours of thoughtfully prepared courses, each one better than the last, shared in such an intimate setting. Every bite, every moment, every detail was so well done. The entire experience was fabulous from start to finish!

Exquisite Anniversary Dinner and experience at Quiessence. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the wines selected to go with each course. A beautiful quaint setting, quiet and romantic on the farm at night. The tour of the kitchen was a fun experience and you can truly tell everybody from the chefs to the servers care about giving you the best possible experiences. One of the best meals we have ever had. We truly look forward to coming again!

Words are difficult to give to this fantastic dining experience - it was magnificent. When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely young woman who was personable, professional and savvy in welcoming us to the restaurant and seating us at a lovely table adjacent to a garden. We were given a few minutes to acclimate to the menu - it's extremely unique and made with clear intention, imagination and attention to detail. Our server, Justin, was a complete delight. He was very informative about the menu, made recommendations and was so courteous. He knew everything he needed to ensure our selections were to our liking. The food was out of this world. Hats off to the chefs for their creativity, thoughtfulness, skill and precise detail paid to every dish. Executive Chef Dustin Christofolo is supreme at his craft - it's clear this is his passion and how lucky for us to enjoy the fruits of his labor. The Farm at South Mountain is an oasis with unexpected beauty, charm, class, and outstanding dining options. This was our first time enjoying Quiessence but we will be back - it was, by far, the best meal and dining experience ever. Congrats to the Christofolos for having the midas touch crafting such a brilliant, beautiful, delectable creation - amazing!

Service was not good—we were served wine sometimes 20 minutes before we got our paired courses, and the first course took over an hour. No one talked to us about the wine pairings (about why they chose certain wines with the food, more about the wine, etc.). You expect a certain level of conversation about the food and wine in fine dining and this did not happen. Also, the server that was refilling water was incredibly standoffish, and I even heard him swearing and acting irritated when I was walking to the restroom. Also, Christmas music is playing the day after Christmas? No one wants to hear that music when Christmas is over. The ribeye was not cooked well, with pieces being very unevenly cooked and with a surprisingly thick grey band, and the fat not rendered correctly. I've honestly had better ribeye at Texas Roadhouse. Absolutely unacceptable for fine dining. The wine didn't seem to go well with the food, and we're all completely underwhelming. I remember an emphasis on their garden vegetables in previous visits, which did not happen this time around. None of the food was exciting. They did give us an extra oz of waygu, but I was dubious of the legitimacy of the waygu anyways as typically you get some education, certificate, etc. showing where the meat came from. I am trying to temper my expectations for a $175pp tasting menu, but ultimately you are presenting yourself as a fine dining restaurant and we paid $700 for a mediocre meal, terrible service, and an experience that will keep us from ever coming back. Also weird that dessert isn't a part of the tasting menu. There are many better fine dining experiences in Phoenix, and better food + ambiance to be had for $700. Sad as this place was very nostalgic for us. We used to come here all the time for Valentine's Day and celebrations. It's clear quality has tanked.

We enjoyed an outstanding meal. From start to finish each course, along with the wine pairing was perfection!

Farm-to-table… in a desert??? Believe it. Visit it, walk it, taste it, believe it. This family-owned restaurant and 10-acre farm is an escape from the city and an embrace of what is good and wholesome. You are greeted by… a crowing rooster. A flower and vegetable garden. A keen eye would notice three-sisters planting. You then walk into Quiessence, the main restaurant, and are transported to a remote, Napa Valley fine dining restaurant. Most of the ingredients on the menu are sourced from the local estate and honor local agriculture. The wine menu is highly developed and has rare offerings. They have premium offerings like caviar and wagyu. The cooking is highly technical and the menu is innovative. You will have an amazing time.

The food was excellent, but the service left a lot to be desired. We ordered a cocktail twice (a Dry Martini) and it never arrived. We were also freezing, and I had to insist several times before they finally turned on the heat. And receiving a phone call because I did not leave a tip was the most surreal thing that has ever happened.

We had been looking for a true chef's table experience for years. I'm so glad we finally found it! We had an amazing 6 course dinner (so much food!). Getting to meet the various chefs who prepared each course was such a cool experience. They are all artists. The staff made us feel special from the moment we arrived. It's well worth the money and we will absolutely be back!

This was the best meal and dining experience my wife and I have ever had and we have dined all over the US and in Europe. We hope to be back the next time we are in Phoenix!

Very cool fine dining experience. Staff seemed slightly rigid. It was fun to take a tour of the kitchen and see the chefs in action. The food was amazing.
