I had noticed R & B on my new drive to work down 7th St. and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint. Orly, the owner was a treat to speak with. I was lucky enough to arrive as bagel came out of the oven. I ordered an Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese. She let me know they only use fresh ingredients and I was amazed by the sheer size of the bagel. I was fortunate enough to share half with a workmate and he agreed that it's the freshest bagel we've had in the valley....
Lovely place, & lovely people. I think this is our new spot. Gave us a cake on the spot in an emergency birthday. Such authentic people & pasteries!! p.s. also gave us candles?! freaking awesome! such a beautiful cake with a nice family atmosphere.
The bakery is absolutely spectacular. The scones in particular are very highly recommended, straight out of London. But even more than the food the owner and their family are someone the warmest people and are an absolute pleasure to share a cup of coffee with. Highly recommended.
