Great food, service and atmosphere. I loved the TVs and the variety of things that were playing. There’s even a couch that gives a very homey vibe.But, on to the pizza, which had the right ratio of cheese, sauce and crust. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and the pizza at this location reminds me of one of the neighborhood pizzerias but with better customer service, food and atmosphere
The pizza is hit or miss here. Today was a miss. Greasy floppy slices. The cheese has zero pull which tells me they’re using cheap cheese. Look at the close up pic- that cheese doesn’t look right. Nothing like the real Rays pizza in NY. That said, I have had good slices from here in the past but I think there are new owners.

I’ve been coming to this location for YEARS. The food has always been good, as it was tonight. The customer service has always been EXCELLENT. HOWEVER the customer service was TERRIBLE tonight. I ordered a pick up after viewing the online menu, I came to pick up and was charged SIGNIFICANTLY more than the price online. I told the cashier and even showed him online the prices I ordered from. He simply told me they have a new website and those aren’t their prices, it has their address and everything and didn’t offer to do anything…not an offer to discount even a couple dollars to meet in the middle. To make matters worse, he didn’t even offer to change order to their SPECIAL (large pizza and 20 wings) for $42.95 instead of the large pizza and 12 wings I had ordered and paid $1 more for.I get it, it’s a couple bucks but that’s not really the problem. The problem is that the customer service is lacking. I showed the kid (part of the family that owns the restaurant now) the prices I viewed online when I ordered and he disregarded me….the least he could have done was upgraded my order to their special since I was paying the same price for less. It’s the effort that’s important to me and it wasn’t there. Definitely lost a few customers tonight over this and I’ll be sure to share my experience the hundreds of clients I deal with in this area.

My husband and I stopped at Rays Pizza at Happy Vally for a slice and WOW, what a difference since it's under new ownership and management. They updated it and it's really very nice, plus it's so clean. Plus, if that wasn't enough, the pizza is delicious. New York Pizza in Arizona! Finally! I'm a New York transplant and I know my pizza. So good!! I give it 5 stars out of 5. Give it a try, you will NOT be disappointed.
