Worst restaurant experience in years. Arrived after a long flight and just needed a little sustenance. Hotel cafe so expectations not real high but I knew what to expect since I've traveled extensively over the years. The coffee shop is located in the lobby and at first glance you would think it is a lounge. No reception area. I contacted the front desk and they told me to just take a seat and someone would be out to help. After about 10 minutes and being only one of two tables occupied I stood up and walked into the darkened adjacent doorway which appeared to be an extension of the restaurant. Upon poking my head into the room I observed an employee who was obviously startled by my appearance. Not sure if he was sleeping?? He said he'd be right out to help. Brought out menus never mentioned the specials and failed to wipe down the table which was full of crumbs. He did take the time to wipe other tables around us. Took our order and never asked how my wife wanted her steak cooked. He bought our meals out and the steak was cooked rare which was not what my wife wanted. My order included fries so he asked if I wanted ketchup when he took the order. I said yes and asked for mayonnaise. Never saw him again until he brought the order out. However I could hear him talking at a distance. When he brought the order out he failed to include the ketchup. I asked if he could bring it out and never saw him again until I finished my sandwich. Mind you we were the only ones at the restaurant during our meal so he just blew me off. 4 patrons walked into the restaurant and he was all smiles and greeted them and offered the specials. Didn't eat the fries (no ketchup) no apology from him - not sure why he treated us the way he did but it was disappointing. Food was below average and it was prepared to their liking and not ours. I've been a Marriott Bonvoy member for years but I also stay at The Hilton and other hotels occasionally. Looks like the Hilton will be my go to hotel in the future.

This restaurant is located inside the marriott phoenix airport hotel. If you are staying at the hotel this is very convenient. If you are not then parking is free and the restaurant is in the lobby. The food is very good and there is a full bar. Everything was dilishis and cooked to order. We ordered a hamburger, house salad, wonton popper things, and lova chocolate cake. The service was great and the restaurant was comfortable and cozy. There house made sousesis made the meal. This is a great place and very convenient if you are staying at the phoenix airport marriott.

This Lounge was conveniently located right in the lobby of our Hotel where we spent one night. We had a nice buffet breakfast on our first morning after checking in. There were sufficient selections of warm and cold items. Later that night, after a whole day of touring, we stopped here for a very quick light dinner. We had Cheese Quesadillas and a Cup of their Chicken Tortilla Soup, and paired it with Water and Red Wine. All items were good. Both times, we had attentive and helpful servers. Cannot beat the location of this place for weary travelers.
