Was convinced this bakery was going to be great as the reviews were very positive. Came for my bday. Presentation was 100! I really wanted to love these but was underwhelmed as they all tasted the same. Purchased vanilla, strawberry shortcake, cookie monster and red velvet. Same frosting recipe used on all cupcakes - red velvet lacked that cocoa flavor one expects from red velvet, strawberry shortcake was a vanilla cupcake with a little strawberry drizzle and strawberry slice on top, cookie monster was a chocolate cupcake but lacked chocolate flavor. Vanilla was just that vanilla so no complaints there. I think with a few tweeks to recipes will make this place much better (use quality ingredients).

This place is locally owned and has the BEST cupcakes, cheesecakes and shakes in Arizona! The owners are amazing people and always makes us feel welcomed. It’s such a vibe coming in seeing the wall of flowers and paintings along the wall from a local artist. I highly recommend going to Red Velvet Bakery!

Red Velvet Bakery is probably one of the best hidden gems in the Phoenix area — and I’m almost hesitant to share how good it is because I want to keep it all to myself!
Every time I go, I end up stuffing my face (no shame!) — especially with their cheesecake. It’s insanely rich, creamy, and just melts in your mouth. You can tell everything is made with love and top-quality ingredients. The flavors are bold, the texture is perfect, and honestly, it’s become a bit of an addiction.
The staff is always friendly, and the vibe in the shop is cozy and welcoming. Whether you’re picking up something sweet to go or just treating yourself, you cannot go wrong here.
This bakery is the best of the best, from customer service to food and the place is very color full and inviting. This place is good to have a study session or a coffee date with a friend. Owner and employee are very polite.
Had a cupcake very crumbley fell apart of my lap icing wasn't creamy at all they need to put some cream cheese in that icing

The staff was friendly. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The store was clean, bright, and inviting. I tried a salted caramel cupcake, a red velvet cupcake, and a mango tea. The salted caramel cupcake had a nice buttery cake, and the frosting tasted good. The red velvet cupcake was good also. Both were moist. The mango tea had real mango chunks in it and was refreshing. I will definitely be returning!

I worked with them to create custom cookies, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. They’re always hospitable, upbeat, and make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you walk in. My family ordered a birthday cake, despite the outside being decorated beautifully, it was dense and seemed slightly undercooked on the inside. I'm not sure what happened but there also seemed to be a lack of flavor with the cake itself, I'm disappointed to say the least, the whole family is :/
