Top Black Eats in Phoenix an Absolute favorite! My favorite is the catfish, real authentic nice sized filets! Not that frozen packaged fish, Reggie’s fry’s REAL sea fish all the way through crispy and seasoned very good. Also the fried chicken is sooo good! You won’t need any sauce but their MILD sauce is the best, a savory ketchup set apart from other restaurants.

Wanted a hotlink came here and was very disappointed, messed up on my order super salty bbq sauce, and they fry the fish and chicken in the same grease from what it tasted like, fry’s were bbq sauce soup, rib tips were alright. Chicken was crispy and coated perfectly just had a fishy taste The drinks were very cold which I love. They messed up my order and had to go all the way back but they did fix it, I personally won’t be back

When I called this place the guy was extremely rude and hung up in my face. I called back a lady catching the phone and she was like semi rude with the nastiest attitude. I was going to go spend money there then changed my mind after that experience and definitely after seeing all of these other reviews. Smh what a disgrace why would you have a type of business like this with disgusting manners making people not want to even trust you cooking their food.

So for me it was a miss, let me explain, I was driving by and saw the chicago sign had me intrigued, so I stop. Ask the usual questions, prices, how many pieces, what part of the city and could they stand up to Coleman or Joe BBQ, well let's just say I was disappointed. The conversation was there, very nice person, very friendly amongst other things, never seen the wife but he spoke highly of her and her cooking the sides, which I did not order, but... baby when I got home and opened up the food, first impressions was OK this is a lot of food and the smell was decent, however if they or who ever fixed the food didnt give me old meat in both aspects, I had chicken and rib tips, you can tell it would have been good if it weren't old, this is what i mean by old food, they obviously heated up my food either by microwave or it had been sitting under a heater for some time. The ribs were tough some all the way through and others only the juicy fatty parts in the tips were edible, seeing as I only tried 2 or 3 tips, tearing thru them to taste and get the softer sides. And the chicken, he had me sold on the Crack power, lol the lemon pepper seasons, so I really wanted them, made me thing of sharks, but anyway. To say the least would I go again, maybe 🤔 he was real nice and probably some niccas around seeing it's right next door to a barber shop. But I would definitely have to check my food for freshness first, I personally don't eat meat heat up from the microwave, im an old fashion oven girl. But hey, one man's trash is another man's treasure, so im sure some ppl liking the food, he stay open for business, I wish them the best of luck.

Everytime I go the food is great I just made this review because reading the bad ones really got under my skin because they are lies me and my daughter love this place if I didn't stay in East Mesa we would visit more often great job down there keep up the good work you quality speaks for itself and the customer service is top tier if you wait in your car they will bring it to you♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
