So for me it was a miss, let me explain, I was driving by and saw the chicago sign had me intrigued, so I stop. Ask the usual questions, prices, how many pieces, what part of the city and could they stand up to Coleman or Joe BBQ, well let's just say I was disappointed. The conversation was there, very nice person, very friendly amongst other things, never seen the wife but he spoke highly of her and her cooking the sides, which I did not order, but... baby when I got home and opened up the food, first impressions was OK this is a lot of food and the smell was decent, however if they or who ever fixed the food didnt give me old meat in both aspects, I had chicken and rib tips, you can tell it would have been good if it weren't old, this is what i mean by old food, they obviously heated up my food either by microwave or it had been sitting under a heater for some time. The ribs were tough some all the way through and others only the juicy fatty parts in the tips were edible, seeing as I only tried 2 or 3 tips, tearing thru them to taste and get the softer sides. And the chicken, he had me sold on the Crack power, lol the lemon pepper seasons, so I really wanted them, made me thing of sharks, but anyway. To say the least would I go again, maybe 🤔 he was real nice and probably some niccas around seeing it's right next door to a barber shop. But I would definitely have to check my food for freshness first, I personally don't eat meat heat up from the microwave, im an old fashion oven girl. But hey, one man's trash is another man's treasure, so im sure some ppl liking the food, he stay open for business, I wish them the best of luck.
The catfish mac and cheese+ candy yams half rack of ribs on the side 🔥
Everytime I go the food is great I just made this review because reading the bad ones really got under my skin because they are lies me and my daughter love this place if I didn't stay in East Mesa we would visit more often great job down there keep up the good work you quality speaks for itself and the customer service is top tier if you wait in your car they will bring it to you♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Was looking for real southern cooking and this is it ordered catfish with greens and yams good Lord the 30 min drive was worth it.
Reggie’s Barbecue served up some seriously delicious smoked meats! The ribs were tender and full of flavor, and the brisket melted in my mouth. Sides like mac and cheese and baked beans were equally tasty. Friendly service and a laid-back atmosphere made it a fantastic BBQ experience. Highly recommend!
The barbecue sauce taste like jelly and how can they forget when you ask for no sauce because you don’t want to eat sauce that taste like jelly and you get home and you have A plate with fries and meat full of jelly sauce that you did not want.
The food was so fresh and delicious. I ordered the Chicago hot link today when I went and it was so juicy and good. I would recommend and I will be back soon
I used to love Reggie's BBQ just for their catfish and they're okra I haven't been able to go for a while due to being ill and I come back they didn't got a whole new cut the fish don't taste as good as it used to and my okra does not look the same nor taste the same there is no salt whatsoever and it's kind of burnt I'm not happy about that however the catfish is still good

Food wasn’t all that
Sauce tasted like mcds barbecue sauce
Mac n cheese didn’t have flavor
They topped all the meats with thin white great value bread
Fries were soggy drenched in barbecue sauce
Sorry but this wasn’t a 4.1 star rating restaurant
Paid 80$ for 2 large size meats and 3 sides for small portions
Price should been $60

On last Saturday, my granddaughter and I had driven all the way from Tucson because we wanted some more of Reggie’s barbecue. I had to be in Phoenix on Sunday for a service; however, we drove down on Saturday just to get the barbecue and then we would spend the night for the church service on the next day. Someone else had told us how good it was and so we had gotten some the last time we were in Phoenix. They were closing when we got there and had turned off the fryers; however, they reopened, took our order and served us. I think that was so wonderful, and we truly enjoyed the food.

The people were nice. The neighborhood was OK. However I got the catfish perch with French fries. For the price that was not worth it. For the price that I paid it looked like a kids meal. As far as the quality of the fish goes it was perch and catfish . The freshness was OK but it has almost zero seasoning it just tastes like fish and cornmeal with a hint of salt and pepper. He needs to go to his competitions places like WTH burger or mandy's fish and chips. They run circles around this fish I don't know how his BBQ is
