First of all we came to the restaurant and they didn’t let us inside they said we’d have to order at the window. The food looked so good and it smelled so good outside I contemplated buying food (I did drive over an hour to eat here because I saw an ad on ig that made it look so worth the drive) but my kids and I stood outside for several minutes and nobody came back to help us. They locked us out and left us standing outside after acknowledging we were there. They acted like they had the cartel in their restaurant and it’s all hush hush idk it seemed like anything but some place I could actually order food. I googled bbq and went to Bobby Q’s instead which was another 30 minutes away from this restaurant. *eye roll* so disappointed.

Call it in. That 1.75 online order convenience fee may have been worth it. Now, my frugal butt is sunburned, from waiting for my stuff.Catfish could use more corn meal, but it is still pretty good. Maybe that's the way they fry in Chi-town.

Fried foods not seasoned and I’m assuming for health concerns towards customers because a lot of black restaurants now a days are cutting their salt in foods, especially fried foods. The perch was kind of mushy one time. The Mac and cheese was not premium oven baked, it was pretty mid or a notch below if you ask me. Baked beans were decent.Ribs were good, you can’t mess up on that.Rib tips have been a hit or miss, sometimes they are just right on point: tender and flavorful and then there are other times where they are like the other customer said hard like horse meat, or like trying to chew a leather belt and I got to be honest most of the times I got the rib tips up here they were HARD which means it’s a day old barbecue from yesterday, rib tips are supposed to be so soft and tender that even the bone breaks when you chew into it.I had the barbecue chicken before and the breast part was hard, most definitely marinate the chicken over night or up to 4 hours before cooking. For some reason the pizza puffs tasted good dipped in the barbecue and hot sauce. ?

I read the negative reviews before I went. I like to hear others experiences and then decide for myself. When I pulled into parking lot the smell was amazing. I asked before I ordered if the rib tips were tender, I was assured they were. It Let me tell you people I didn't know if I was eating pork or horse meat they were so tough. I only spent $10 on the mini rib tip combo but that $10 went into the dumpster. Whoever was working the the grill obviously is not a pit master, hopefully it wasn't the owner. The sauce was mediocre to say least. The grape soda was good.

Food was cold, and the sauce they use is terrible. Spent $100 and took two bites.

To Greg talking bout this some Memphis style barbecue, brotha no it ain’t. Memphis got it from MISSISSIPPI because more than half of the black population in Memphis came from Mississippi which is the REAL HOME of BLUES and BARBECUE. And we all know Mississippi left a trail in Memphis, through St Louis all the way up to Chiiiicaaagooooo. When you eat Reggie’s you taste that Mississippi roots of barbecue cooking my brother, no disrespect what so ever, but by all means of respect, put some respect on Mississippi name, ‘cus you know who RUN IT!!! ??? all love mane.

Decided to check this spot out while visiting from out of town. Received the wrong order. Not to mention I was missing food. When the owner was made aware of the situation. We thought the issue would be rectified. It was not. I was charged for food I didn’t eat and didn’t order. Major disappointment and super unfortunate.
