We came to Rewined Wine Bar to celebrate my friend’s birthday, but unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. My friend had recently lost her physical driver's license but had a valid Arizona Mobile ID — a legal and government-issued form of identification. Despite this, the bartender refused to accept it and insisted we leave.
What made the situation worse was her rude and dismissive attitude. We understand the importance of compliance, but there’s a way to communicate policies respectfully — especially when the ID in question is valid and widely accepted, even at airports.
We were simply trying to celebrate and have a good time, but the tone and treatment we received made for a very negative start to our evening. Definitely not the welcoming or accommodating atmosphere we had hoped for.

We stumbled into Rewind Beer and Wine Bar by total accident—and honestly, it felt like finding a secret level in an old-school video game. While waiting for our table at Glai Baan, we were sent over for a drink and a visit with Sophie, and let’s just say: best plot twist ever.
Walking into Rewind is like stepping straight into the ‘90s, in the best possible way. The bar top is covered in Pogs—yes, actual Pogs—which immediately sets the tone: this place is here to serve drinks and core childhood memories. Add in the neon signs, vintage posters, and throwback playlists, and it’s basically a time machine with a killer drink menu.
Speaking of—which is massive. One of the largest selections of craft beer, wine, and cider I’ve seen in Phoenix. And the games? Board games, card games, random ‘90s nostalgia—it’s like your childhood basement grew up, got cooler, and learned how to mix drinks.
Trivia Night on Tuesdays is already calling my name. Whether you’re passing time before dinner or posting up for the night, Rewind is a total win. Come for the drinks, stay for the vibes, and prepare to be hit with the most fun kind of nostalgia whiplash.

What a great place to hang out! It's on the small side, you have to get there to reasonable hour to stick your claim. Plenty of board games on the bar to occupy your time if the people you're with run out of things to talk about. Would definitely return for a beverage in the future, hope to make the happy hour next time.

Amazing alcohol selection and vibe! We were recommended to wait there by Glai Baan host (one of our favorite restaurants!) Great idea btw, supporting each other is a super nice thing to see in the city. Really cool that this bar let's customers know when their table is ready at Glai! Our first time here but unfortunately an incredibly rude experience with the bar tender. She immediately greeted us with a demanding tone stating we need to go up to the bar to order. Cool, no problem. After receiving our bottle of mead with zero words and an angry energy haha she came back later and swiftly cleared our table of glasses and bottle lol and no words. I turned around a couple times to be met with a death stare haha dunno what I could've possibly done

This place really is “what you see is what you get”. Lots of beer, wine, and ciders to choose from. A limited food section, and some great small gaming options(lots of ice breaking games, card games, and the usual classic like connect four). The place has limited seating though, but, it’s also not a large spot. Just a great place to sit down, drink, and enjoy company.
Love the board games and the service is great! They know a lot about all of the drinks available!

Amazing little retro style bar. The bartender was very friendly. She is no frills, down to earth, but made me feel welcome. Enjoyed a great beer on draft, and was impressed watching how much effort went into cleaning the glassware. Amazing selection of card and board games. Great vibes, fantastic decor.
