I am from New Mexico and this food is NOT New Mexican. I had the carne adovada - portions were huge, pork was delicious and their red chile was tasty but very different from NM's red chile. My guests both had seafood. The seabass sauce was extremely sweet and did not compliment the dish. The fish was fresh and another huge portion. We love Richardson's, and everything was delicious and spectacular as always. There were some hiccups with the service at our patio table, and it took a while to have someone come over and take care of our table. Once we had a server, he did a great job.
Always seems like reservations don't mean anything at Richardson's. Had a 6:45pm reservation and did not get seated until almost 7:30pm. The host was very apologetic but clearly they need to figure out how to seat walk-ins with reserved parties. On the other hand the manager did not seem to care at all. Walked by us several times, looked at the iPad, clearly knew she had a party standing there for almost 45mins, and never said a word. Not even an "We're sorry"....
