It was Goth night and I never new about. I'm 57 yrs old and I was up on the stage like I was back home in Chicago Illinois when I was in my 20s and at Medusa's on shetfield and school. Great memories bought back to me. I sure will be back for the next Goth night

The people here on both sides of the bar were very friendly. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because of the layout. Kind of funky how you can’t see what’s going on around corners for a dive bar. I also have not been there during live music which I believe they have regularly. It may be good. Several of my local friends frequent Rips.

a few friends and i went here for a birthday and the decor was amazing.. everyone was so nice and friendly… we got so many compliments and our bartender that night was absolutely the standout.. staff (especially jazz) was outstanding. the live music was such a vibe. drinks were amazing .. i can’t give this hidden gem enough stars 110/10
