Call me critical, but after years in the restaurant industry and now as a partner in several restaurant establishments, I notice simple details. I took friends to Rokerij for a birthday celebration. I've been a loyal fan for 20 years and hyped it up as one of my favorite places in town. I noted the birthday celebration on OpenTable and even made it clear to our server that it was a special occasion. Unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment. No birthday dessert, no gesture, nothing. Worse, after the check was dropped, we waited 45 minutes with our payment untouched. No one returned. A busser eventually passed by and tried to help, but another 20 minutes went by before I had to flag down a different server because the busser went missing with our credit cards . Our new server informed me that our original server had left and she'd taken over. She was shocked to find out that he hadn't closed us out. She apologized, but this isn't a small oversight. For a restaurant with Rokerij's reputation, it was a major service failure. The food was excellent, as always, but great food can't make up for poor service. Disappointing, especially on a night that was meant to be special. Don't let this discourage you from coming here. It's amazing and the food is unique and delicious. This is more-so a note to management to tighten up simple service protocols like birthdays and having a server introduce their replacement before leaving for the night.

First of all the food and server were outstanding. I was hosting clients for dinner and they loved everything about the atmosphere. The only issue was the lack of staff for the evening. We had to wait for our server who was incredible, for long periods of time because she had a lot of tables to manage. Other than that, everything was amazing and would go back over and over again.

My enchiladas were too salty and dry The salsa was not very good. Too watery w no punch. Needs to be thicker &. More flavorful Lastly the prices have been increased dramatically

The food was really good but it took a really long time to get to us. I wish they had more to their menu too, especially for lunch. I had the tenderloin toast and my husband had the skewers.

Rokerij royally exceeded expectations!! I have no words, yet ALL of them at the same time. Incredible service (thank you, Omar!), food, cocktails, ambiance, the whole nine!
I’ll be talking about that place forever. 🙌

We absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always amazing and the service impeccable. We brought 2 couples for the first time and they loved it as well.

Flew into town and our first stop for Sunday Brunch. We enjoyed some wonderful cocktails. We shared a meal as they are very hearty.

I have been here three times because I've really wanted to like it, I've had the skewers, carne asada enchiladas, seafood pasta ,chorizo enchiladas, bacon-wrapped shrimp, and the bacon-wrapped jalapenos. The food is not seasoned good, it's super basic, over priced. The only thing I did like were the appetizers the jalapenos and the wrapped shrimp. We finally decided we have tried so many things and wouldn't come back

A shame I had such a bad experience because I was so excited to try this place after hearing so many good things! I went for dinner and drinks in the downstairs cellar area. The bartender was highly unprofessional and the bar crowd was all belligerently drunk. Getting served was a hassle since it seemed the bartender was more keen on talking with his friends than serving newcomers. The two food items ordered were far from deserving of the price paid. Over $100 for two glasses of wine and 2 appetizers on happy hour seems extreme. A bummer, the place looked so cool and has so much potential.
