Group reservation with out of town guests received exceedingly bad delay in service, one meal took an hour. Food was average at best. Very disappointing.
This place always hits. I love Rosie's, Richardson, n The Rokerij. Never a bad time when we go!

Was at the bar and had a drink and ordered a pizza. Next thing I know while I’m eating I see a baby cockroach walking across the bar. We put a cup over it and told the bartender and he just acted super nonchalant, didn’t apologize or anything. Appetite was lost.
There are some great dishes on the menu and some mediocre dishes; however, all of the dishes are expensive. After my last few visits of trying different dishes and having fairly bad service, I don't think I will be returning. If you are wanting to give them a try expect the service to be spotty, prices to be high, and certain dishes and drinks to be really tasty. The dishes we've enjoyed in the past are the Rokerij Steak and the New Mexican dishes. Also, the perfect pear martini is worth trying if you like cocktails.
I thought I reserved a table downstairs and I was informed our table was upstairs. They offered no compensation for the mistake. I was told I should not book online and I should have called the restuarant to book that. We were celebrating two birthdays and everyone except myself had never been there before. I was very disappointed that I did not get the reservation I thought I reserved, which was almost a month earlier.
This place is always delicious! We brought our friends for the first time and we all loved it. Only issue was the water tasted like soap. We asked for a new bottle and glasses and same issue. Never happened before. Other than the soapy tasting water everything was so amazing.
I have been here several times. The food usually never disappoints. Had the the tomahawk steak. It was alright. Had to send it back to be cook as it was not medium. More on The rare side. Also it was not a very large tomahawk and Had lots of fat. I will go back to the restaurant again but would not order the tomahawk. Way too expensive for what you get.
Rokerij is a Phx fave, though we have been in a while. A true Phx gem, it's our number 1 choice to take out of town family and friends. Last night didn't disappoint! The food was perfect and so happy to see the pricing hadn't gone through the roof - the Adovada was excellent as always. Love this place and that it is the original Phoenix amazing restaurant!
Our server Ana was well informed of the menu and attentive. We were fortunate to secure a table in the basement level which is cozy & romantic but several customers came in soon after we were seated who were obnoxiously loud, one guy in particular.Steak wasn't as tender as the last time we dined here. Seafood linguine was really good.
Blaine is beyond kind and helpful first time here and best place in town. Highly recommend the food the service the atmosphere top tier. Thank you Blaine for the great experience.

We took a Monday off to celebrate my friend's birthday here. We mentioned that during reservation and nobody even said happy birthday or thank you for celebrating with us. Ambiance and food was fantastic, but service was okay at best. Didn't tell us about specials until we asked. Never came around and checked it out food was okay. Took forever to take an order, when we were one of the only tables there. We will be back for the amazing food, hopefully the service will be better next time
I had the enchiladas they were not my favorite. The green chili pork was the best one out of the steak and chicken. Was not a fan at all of the beans and rice. Rice was undercooked and beans were bland. I'll be back to try the Richardson. The quality of food is there the flavor needs some adjustment.
Have been here many times and generally it's good but last night the food was terrible. Ordered. Medium rare steak and it came medium well. The trio of fish another in our group ordered was so overcooked it was inedible. We chose not to send the food back since we had to be somewhere and didn't have time to get it remade. Service in the downstairs bar was excellent!
First I'd like to point out the food is fantastic, but my service was very off-putting. I came in town to visit friends and we decided to come to Richardson's because we love the food. My friend and I were seated, we ordered our food, and had some water while we waited. Close to 20min or so after, my friend asked our waiter Trey if we could get an estimated time on our food. Trey seemed annoyed and responded "I put the order in ladies, I don't know what else you want me to do"...wait, what?! We were clearly upset at his response because it was rude and uncalled for. I'm not sure if he sensed the vibe afterwards but he shortly came back with an estimated time which should have been his first response. He barely checked on us while making sure to stay on top of his other tables. That was very upsetting to me considering I flew in from another state, and it's tradition for my friend and I to eat here when I come in town. This experience has made me reconsider where our new traditional spot will be.
We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed dining with us. Your kind words about Tory's excellent service are greatly appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
