Oh my goodness, we had morning Menudo in a very large pot for a family gathering for a funeral. The white Menudo was absolutely delicious. Our family from Arizona and California. Loved it as well. Thank you, Mary lou for making some of the best Menudo in all of Arizona. The large pot is almost empty!!!

Was in Phoenix for a night and asked the front desk person what was the best tex mex place in town. They said Rosita's. They didn't lie. Some of the best, freshest, authentic food I've had in a restaurant. Highly recommend

The customer service is great, and the food is delicious in this long-standing family owned restaurant. The Pozole is seasonal from October through March,it's flavorful and delicious, mildly spicy. The red and green salsa are both good and the red has a nice spice to it. Chips come fresh to the table. Parking in the back.

Here’s my honest review the food is always good hot and delicious the service is good and the price are great especially for how good the food is the location is not the best even though I grew up in this area and the exterior is a bit run down but the interior is an average in appearance as any older Mexican restaurant would be so enough about all that let’s talk about the food yummy the green chili burritos are amazing regular or chimichangas style and the beans are mucho delicious also the fresh chip made hot and fresh when you order them wow just amazing and we love the enchiladas and fajitas and a bowl of menudo you just can’t go wrong with this place so I highly recommend dining at Rosita’s place on McDowell rd just west of 24st I hope this review help you choose to dine here

Rosita’s Place comes highly recommended for its authentic Mexican cuisine, and I was eager to try it out. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the hype. While the food certainly had an authentic touch, there were several aspects that fell short. The salsa was indeed very hot and flavorful, a highlight for those who enjoy a spicy kick. However, the seafood dish I ordered was a disappointment. The fish was over-fried and had an unappealing chewy texture. The deep scoring of the fish, presumably for presentation, led to overcooked fish. Although the restaurant offers a variety of local Mexican dishes, the execution left much to be desired. If you are a seafood lover seeking flaky, well-cooked fish, Rosita’s Place Pescado might not be the best choice. Additionally, when they say hot, they mean it—be prepared for some serious heat. In summary, while Rosita’s Place has potential and certain dishes may appeal to many, my overall experience did not meet the expectations set by its reputation. It will be worth a visit for the Mexican-food foodies, but stick to American version of Mexican food like tacos or burritos.

Sigh. To begin we went in and asked to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine with our meal. Patio is small and intimate in front of the restaurant. We chose a seat and waited. We were not given a drink menu but noticed that others had drinks and assumed margaritas were an option. We ordered two standard margaritas on the rocks and were told we would get chips and salsa. The waiter returned with salsa and asked if we wanted chips. I looked confused as to what else we would do with all this salsa. My guy ordered the pozole and the waiter told him that had pork in it. We knew that and smiled and nodded anyway. That was the last we saw of her. We never got the pozole and no one else ever came yo our table to check on us. From the condescending impromptu not subtle way of telling us what we ordered to being ignored, we don’t think this is a place for us. New to the area and trying place, we were not welcomed at all. We had to go inside and cash out and let them know we were done waiting. We won’t be back and are not recommending this for the folks of culture. I wish I could tell you how the food was but all I had was chips and salsa.

We found out about this place from Yelp. We sat outside and had a really hard time getting served. We waited 8 minutes to order drinks and an appetizer. The server never came back for over 15 minutes and we never received our food. As black patrons of a different culture we completely understand what was happening at this establishment. Not the first time we have been treated like we’re not wanting here. Thanks!!

staffing needs to pay close attention to details. We have an elder who requested from them with white menudo , due to the spices for her stomach. She was given red. Waisted time and gas to order out from this establishment.
