I am incredibly disappointed and upset with Rustler’s Rooste and their management. I have been a loyal customer for 14 years, often bringing my children and grandchildren to enjoy the fun, family-friendly atmosphere.

Tonight, I was there with my daughter, son-in-law, and my grandson who has autism. He was joyfully cheering “woo hoo!” as people went down the slide — simply expressing excitement and happiness. This was around 5 PM, early in the evening.

A manager approached me and told me that my grandson needed to quiet down. I explained that he has autism and was just excited to see people enjoying themselves. The manager’s response was, “I have people here wanting to listen to music.”

I was stunned by the lack of understanding and compassion. My grandson was not being disruptive — he was simply being joyful in a family restaurant known for noise, fun, and laughter.

After more than a decade of happy visits, I will never return. I hope Rustler’s Rooste management takes this as an opportunity to educate their staff about inclusivity and understanding children with special needs. Every child deserves to feel welcome — especially in a place that claims to be family-oriented.

This place definitely did not live up to its reputation. Overpriced poor food quality. Order taken & delivered was the service. Very old and musty. Seated a super small table up against a window behind a door.

We won't return and definitely won't recommend...

Fantastic service and always the best. The only thing that was hard was where we were sitting with nonstop traffic from food being right out. We were always having to move

This was my fourth trip to this restaurant and I have to admit the food has never been spectacular, but the atmosphere and views are great. I won’t go here again just for the sake that the hostess desk is chaos and every time I’ve been there have been told 15 minutes but ended up waiting at least an hour because their queuing system is so screwed up. I don’t understand how the four hostesses working can’t figure it out

Rustlers Rooste is awesome. Amazing atmosphere, food, live music, all with a great view of the south valley. All the guides and reviews are right. There's even a real longhorn steer right at the entrance.
