It is very irresponsible of them not to follow their posted business hours and not to update the Google Maps. Here it is 7:10 pm Sunday night, and they created inconvenience for their customers by not posting their business hours properly.

Had reservations for Teppan - this is has been a regular birthday dinner destination for the service and incredible taste for over 10 years. It was good tonight, but not great. Server was good, but...- Fried rice no longer included in Teppanyaki. Add on.- Teppan chef overcooked two orders of Ribeye. Asked formedium rare, received medium well. We were never asked if itwas good, could have spoke up, but were trying to enjoy theoverall night. A caring chef would have seen the mistake.- Teppan chef had the personality of a dried out sponge. Hemay have been having a bad day, but we were looking to gohere for the fun experience, and he was sort of a mood killer. We went to give an extra cash tip for him, but he didn't evenacknowledge us, and rushed away. Hard to feel bad about notgiving him something extra.- For a family of four, we paid about $350 for a meal andexperience which in the past was amazing, just sort of meh thistime. Will think twice next time. Not seeing a way to contact amanager, but may call in the New Year.

I love your restaurant. You have the best sushi in this part of town. And you the most generous portions of any sushi house.I would like to send someone a gift card to your restaurant but can't find anywhere on your website to do this. Can you tell me how?

The ambiance of the restaurant is quite pleasant, creating a favorable dining atmosphere. The selection of sushi is moderate, with most rolls being of the American-style sushi variety. The overall menu design and choices resemble more of an izakaya, featuring dishes that are primarily meant to complement alcoholic beverages. If you're a fan of drinks and wish to enjoy fried items along with beer or sake paired with sushi, it would be a decent choice. However, if you are seeking an authentic Japanese culinary experience, this may not be the ideal option.Reservations are necessary for the grill section, and unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to experience it, so I cannot provide a review. The quality of the sushi is satisfactory, but the rolls are average, and the fried items tend to be quite thick, potentially causing a sense of heaviness when consumed individually.

Food was good. Service was not. Sat at the bar but was told had to order from server who never came back. So I just got to eat what was given and watch all these other good rolls get prepped and served. Wish I could recommend but really can't. Couldn't even find someone to help me pay my bill.

Sakana used to be a hidden gem for really good sushi at a cheaper price than most. But the restaurant hasn’t really recovered from Covid. The baked scallop roll is still great, and sushi is good. It’s just not as good or as cheap. I recommend skipping those things made in the kitchen. Not so hot.

I’ve eaten at Sakana just shy of three decades. Why? Quality and consistency. Every time I’ve been in their fine establishment, it’s packed. Wait staff is prompt and usually knows the menu well. The food is delicious and always fresh. You can sit at the sushi bar and watch the cooks prepare your plate, sit at a table, or at the teppanyaki if your party is large enough. One amazing plate is the half tuna, half salmon sashimi. This Sashimi is very fresh! My other standby is the spicy tuna roll, as it the deep fried calamari jalapeño. They have every sushi roll one could imagine. The restaurant is very busy, so don’t expect to get in and out quickly. However, your wait is compensated with wonderful culinary delights. So relax, order a drink (or two) and experience the best in Japanese cuisine.

Still taste decent. But my Las Vegas roll definitely had tuna in it and not salmon. I've never seen pink salmon. Then my Alaskan roll had some sort of mushy chopped up salmon mix for the top. Not a slice of salmon. Never ever seen that before. Just the look of it was off putting.

Sakana is always great! It seems their changed their jalopeno boat appetizer a bit. Not as much cream cheese and the breading was different. the original version of it was much better. But sushi rolls are the best in the valley, consistently.
