If you show up at 5:00 you get one-on-one service with your own waiter. Lol we went there before a show and had excellent service. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was nice and quiet the way we like it!

I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites in downtown Phoenix and had the absolute pleasure of dining at Salt River Tavern throughout my trip. Having seen some dated negative reviews online, I was a bit skeptical at first. However, it's clear that the restaurant has a new chef and a completely new menu, as my experience was nothing short of divine. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with excellent service from a friendly and attentive staff, which set the tone for every meal I had there. It's truly a testament to the hotel's commitment to quality that the service is top-tier from the front desk to the restaurant.
The food itself was a culinary masterpiece. Over the course of the week, I had the opportunity to try several dishes, and each one was better than the last. The Aged Prime New York Strip was perfectly cooked, tender, and incredibly flavorful. The Filet Mignon with Lobster Ravioli was spectacular, with the lobster ravioli elevating the dish to a whole new level. For something a bit more casual, the Steakhouse Burger was juicy and delicious, while the grilled Buffalo wings were a unique and unforgettable take on a classic. The quality of the ingredients and the precision in cooking were evident in every single bite.
My experience at Salt River Tavern was truly phenomenal, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The restaurant has clearly undergone a positive transformation, and I cannot praise the current chef and staff enough. The complimentary breakfast, which was also delicious, just added to the overall fantastic experience. This is a must-visit restaurant in downtown Phoenix, and I will definitely be returning on my next visit.

Luis is the best! Had good food and great service both nights we stayed at the Embassy.
Luis was the only bartender tonight and he was exceptionally busy. Despite that, his service was the best Ive ever had here.

Could be a little brighter for reading the menu or newspaper. Maybe spot lighting, could help. ?

Place showed on it's web page that it was open. We walked about 2 miles trying to find it. Then when we got there after the heat of Arizona in August, it was closed. Lost my business forever.
