Good amount of seating to choose from, even with distancing in place. I sat at the bar and had great service from the bar tender. He suggested I take advantage of the $ off by the glass special during happy hour to save a good amount instead of buying a bottle. Food was fantastic! I got the market fish which was prepared perfectly and came with a beautiful vegetable succotash. Will definitely be visiting again!

Went to the salty sow in Austin before coming to the Phoenix location but regardless- I love them both the same! Their happy hour menus are slightly different but everything we ordered was superb and came out super fast! The crispy Brussel sprout leaves are to die for and the Blanche drinks we ordered were super strong! Great service and excellent quality food.

Much better service then I received almost 9 months ago

Normally a fan, but they stopped seating 2 hours ahead of posted closing time. Trying to support a place I like.I saw plenty of seats open, no one was waiting outside, nor in the lobby (though I understand some places don't allow you to wait inside now). It'll be a while before I'm back.Good luck.

Had a Whisky pulled pork sandwich, and gotta say, one heck of a sandwich, "pulling" (pun intended) some different exciting, complementary flavors, cheeses, and ingredients. The fries, with their herb seasoning, are also very good. Pop in and kick back on the patio.

The menu has been cut back too much. I understand restaurants trying to cut costs, but I think they cut too much. Waitress was average at best. She did not show any personality or interest in us. Restaurant was mostly empty, so she couldn't be that busy.

Food is great. Been here multiple times. Other than my lust for food, and my wishes if bigger portions were served, I can't complain.

Portions small, food was tasty. But if you know me, I'm not a big fan of not coming close to full on an entree. Service great.

It takes a big man to admit he was wrong. Years ago I had a bad experience with Salty Sow. Today after five visits in the last year, I admit that my review should be upgraded. The service is five stars and the food great too. Try a Manhattan with the walnut bitters. At 9 dollars during happy hour, its a screaming deal. The food is top notch artisan pub fare. The market fish is Pacific White Sea Bass. I had a fish taco special that rivals any fish taco I have had. We get tremendous service at the bar and the pours are generous.

It's very important to us that a restaurant take the health and safety of its customers and employees seriously these days. Salty Sow delivers. It's always done things right, but it's appreciated even more now. And of course, the food and service continue to be some of the absolute best in the Valley.

We got takeout from the new Salty Sow menu and it was a great experience. Got the family Nashville hot fried chicken meal. Packaging kept the chicken crispy and sides were packaged separately. It was delicious, hot, and juicy. The cheddar jalapeño biscuits are a must add on! Glad you are open!

Back open again, the menu and hours are limited but the food is excellent. Had smoked chicken wings that were juicy and flavorful, cheddar jalapeño biscuits, fried chicken and Brussels sprouts salads. So full! Fried chicken was so crunchy and good. Going for Nashville hot next time!

We absolutely love the Salty Sow. In fact, we went off of the currently listed information on Google, their Facebook page, even their own website! and decided we were going to order for our anniversary dinner tonight, takeout from the Salty Sow... Only to find out that they are CLOSED. If you respect your loyal customers AT ALL. Do the responsible thing, and update your publicly available information to reflect the change.

A bit late for my review since I dined-in back in March, but as I see it, if the food is as good as it was then, then during this Covid-19 event the food has to be just as good now as "take-out." My friend and I were craving BBQ, Salty Sow has been on my bucket list of restaurants to try since we moved to the area. I had made reservations though Open Table on at Saturday evening at 6:30 for 2. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated, Holly our server introduced herself. I ordered a Cosmo. Martini. To note if you go at 7:00 when Happy Hour starts, they have a kicking deal 7 types of Martinis for $7 each (no wonder the restaurant was filling up after 7. For our entrees, we ordered the Wood Smoked Brisket and the Brisket and Rib Platter. Platters come with the choice of 2 sides. We had the Creamed Corn, Duck Fat Fries, Broccoli, Kale and Bacon Salad served with Jalapeno Cheddar Biscuits. The food came out hot and fresh and the BBQ was amazing, all the side were very good, definitely will be back, I have my eye out to try the Hot Chicken Sandwich next time. Atmosphere: fresh airy, trendy fun. Service: very good. Food: very good
