I got a $15.50 signature pizza called the Pig (with bacon, Italian sausage, pepperoni, smoked ham & soppressata) and it was satisfactory. I think the description and the pictures on their site gave me greater expectations than how the pizza actually was. It was better than say, Dominoes, but not by much. The toppings were very light and the crust gets a solid B.

The best place for Gluten-free, dairy free pizza. Mod Pizza is good, but Sauce is the best.

Placing an order online to pick it up in store is supposed to be a convenience for timing purposes. I understand catering orders bring in a lot more money than an order for 3 people for take out, however, the operations process of any restaurant should allow for customers to place orders and catering where they both get prepared at the same time. Being told my order would take 50 minutes to complete because catering takes priority is very disappointing to hear especially when I order lunch for my work and needed to bring it back to my bosses. Will be hesitant to order from Sauce again if I can’t count on my order being done in a normal fashion. Also adding that two customers coming in after me for online orders and getting theirs first is ridiculous

The past 5 times I’ve come to this location they always bring out the pasta 20 minutes before the pizza. We can never eat it together. By the time we get the pizza the pasta is cold.

I was disappointed. I thought the pizza would be better than you know, the big box companies. Was not worth the money spent. Maybe that's why there was hardly any people there during dinner time.

We had been sitting on a Sauce gift card for a while, so finally decided to use it on Saturday June 7th, 2025. Ordered carryout online. Originally was ordering from their Happy Valley location, but my wife wanted to try the garlic knots and somehow they were out at the beginning of a Saturday dinner rush, so I switched pick up locations, which only added 5 minutes to my drive. We ordered the said garlic knots, which we didn't notice the garlic on them; 3 meatballs, which were good but could have used a tad more sauce; and the summer sampler which was a pizza, a salad, and 2 beverages. We ordered the Pig, which was OK but salty and could have been cut better - - we had to recut it to serve otherwise all the toppings from the neighboring pieces were coming off as you took any slice; and the chicken, spinach and apple salad (the salad was tasty, but the dressing was definitely lacking any flavor other than oil and red wine vinegar (what would make the salad terrific would be a strawberry blush, which is what we used from our own fridge). When I walked in, it's not obvious where to go to pick up an order - - if there's signage it was not obvious to me. I got in line and after a few minutes, a cashier asked how could she help me, and when I mentioned my order, she was great at getting all of the components together and bagged or put in the beverage carrier, and asking further if we need other toppings or even utensils. While I'm at it, I'd suggest that online you mention the size of the pizza, and how many it might serve, bec it's not stated and I had to call to find out. Also, the salad listings are not consistent. For instance, there's a Caesar salad listed and another Caesar with chicken, and chicken is listed in the ingredients, without the option of adding or changing the protein. But when you look at the listing for the chicken spinach and apple, chicken is not a listed ingredient, but shows you can pay additionally for different proteins, including chicken.

Stopped for dinner tonight (Approximately 7:15 P.M.). There was one couple sitting outside. Should have read that as a sign! Still, the three ladies working at a counter could not find time to take my order (Strike 1). Waited 8 minutes until a male server finally came from the back of restaurant to take my order. As I waited for my food, I was able to figure out that the three women (2 servers and the manager) were prepping items for service to come later. Folding pizza boxes, etc. Since when do we dismiss currents customers to take care of customers that have not even shown OR ordered (Strike 2). Then, as if by divine intervention, other people began to enter the restaurant. Only 1 of the females attempted to help the male server as he hustled around the restaurant taking care of almost every table. (Strike 3).
Clearly, whatever training that takes place at this location is either not paid attention to (like the customers) or non-existent! I come from the industry as my father owned a restaurant AND my son is a manager at a Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers. Don't have to tell you that these women would be jobless at BOTH places I just mentioned! And the ultimate indignity is that Sauce has posted on their website that they need employees. NO THEY DON'T! They need people to do their job!
Won't be long before 'Sauce' restaurants will be just a memory with people like these as employees! Thankfully we, as consumers can choose other options, because Sauce is NOT going to receive any more of my family or friends business!
This was for a Friday delivery on 3/14/2025. We have weekly Friday lunches for 21 Providers. We have ordered from Sauce many times and each time they were Great! We order a package deal, this time when I ordered, I did notice they took away 2 items from the package deal and jacked up the prices. Ok...with the times and inflation I really can't say much. For the order we did not receive 2 complete items. One was a separate pizza with a GF allergy and the other was a whole order of meatball sliders. The package deal also said we would get rolls with the order and did NOT get them. The overall quality of the order was not even marginal...everyone said that the quality had gone down, less on the toppings and alot of dough/crust. I figured there was new management since there was a sudden change, but apparently this is not the case. We use a 3rd party to order and deliver, and I was NOT happy with their excuses for this order not being complete and satisfying. For me, it you have an item on your menu and it's included in a package deal then honor that and send it, please don't give excuse after excuse because it was not included. We will be very hard pressed if we order from Sauce again.....
Pizza was super dry, not flavorful. I don’t know if it was the cauliflower crust, but it was not good. Definitely not worth $18. Haven’t been here in 20 years, and I can’t say I’m interested in going back. Oh well. Staff was nice though.
It's refreshing, well lit and very clean as well.
