I worked my way through college over 45 years ago in a specialty butcher shop. I was tasked with doing a few pickups around town, which included picking up sausages, franks and knockwurst from a local shop. I still remember picking up from Schreiner's back in the '70s, pulling right up to the front of the building to load up the order. Even though we catered to many easterners and flew in sausages from "Usinger's", our best selling knockwurst came from Schreiner's! I recently had the nostalgic pleasure of finding that Schreiner's is still here and bought a few items for my granddaughters birthday party. The quality and tastes have not changed and I'm sure I'll be back to try more selections.

Hot dogs good. But I don't know what kind of sausage you are pawning off as Italian sausage but its NOT italian sausage. I am from Chicago where we have many Italian DEli's that make there own Italian sausage So people like us KNOW the difference. Romaneli's deli in town has real good Italian sausage not you guys

The sausage you buy in a supermarket is sawdust compared to what you get here. Come here and give their sausage a try. It's worth the drive, and you'll be glad you came. It won't be your only visit either.

This is a staple for me. My wife swears by the Chorizo. I get sausages of the German variety. Good quality stuff. Pigs ears for the dogs too. I tried to stop here whenever I am near.
