I used to come here all the time when it was Shangra La. Used to bring coworkers in. Every time I travel back to Phoenix brought everyone I could in here. Recently I arrived and it was new ownership. But still same great taste and atmosphere. Just left there now with the worst service ever. Asked for a table for 2 and they handed me a menu to go only it seemed. But when I asked if it was only to go she said “to-go? Oh. Ok.” As if she thought we were dining in but never offered us a table. The food is disgusting. And the service was just horrible there. Didn’t even get the order correct. I will never be back to this restaurant again. Unless the old owners come back. Very disappointing experience on this phoenix trip.

My husband and I wanted to get some Chinese food, and we loved this place before it changed ownership. So we stopped in on the way home to try it for the first time with new ownership. We walked in behind another couple; they sat them, then came and asked us how many. We said two, he looked at us and stated we are completely booked for the night. There were over 10 tables free, and only Asian people seated at the other tables. I feel that they don't want, "non Asian people" in their restaurant.We will not be visiting them ever again, nor will we be referring them to anyone.

Went there at the scheduled time of opening, it was about 11:30am and no one was in the restaurant. Was saddened and disappointed because it was referred to me from rainbow donuts to try this place.

The person working the front was nice. She kinda looked confused about what her job is. We waited a while and then finally went up and ordered our food at the host stand. The soup was OK. I had the egg drop soup and it was OK I guess and my husband had the miso soup and it was terrible. His orange chicken was OK and I got the broccoli and beef and it was so slimy I swear I ate a slug. So needless to say I did not eat. The atmosphere is a no good. Needs music or something. I literally had a panic attack and we 0aid and left. I will never return there again

This place was good when was Shangra la. Tries it for the first time tonight. Horrible! Got the wontons tasted like wierd oil and soggy .2 plates of sweet and sour chicken soggy and what ever oil they use soaked . Beef spare ribs were rubber and gross. Register lady didn't even know what pints or quarts are? Threw it all away wouldn't even give to.my dog. Spent 50$

Decided to try this place yesterday.It was TERRIBLE!!! Hot and sour soup was warm and had hardly any flavor. The sweet and sour pork was served warm with room temperature sauce on the side. I needed more! It should have been served hot and covered in sweet and sour sauce. Spring roll tasted funny.Nothing tasted fresh ! Even my iced tea had no flavor! I ordered a Pepsi instead. My friend ordered the orange chicken lunch special and it was also not hot enough.I remember when this place was called Shangrala and it was nice.Please do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS!This has to be the WORST Chinese restaurant EVER!!!

Food was awful. It was expensive and the service was just as bad. We came for lunch and were the only people there except for 2 guys waiting on a to go order. We waited for almost 10 minutes to get served while the server talked to the two guys waiting for their order. I had sweet and sour shrimp and it didn’t come with rice, egg roll or egg drop soup. All that was extra. The sweet and sour sauce was runny and had no taste. I will say the shrimp was good but the sauce not so much. Very disappointed with the food, prices and service. We won’t be going back.
Parking: Easy parking as no one else was there. That should have been a sign.
