I have been to this Safeway location on different days of the week, and it does not matter what day it's been they are always out of items I need, in particular, dairy (i.e. milk, half and half). I always choose to avoid the hustle and bustle of fry's so I prefer Safeway but it's very frustrating to not find what you need only to have to go another grocery store especially when you are in a hurry. In addition, their cashiers are not friendly or helpful whatsoever, which is another huge downfall. I'll save myself some time and just go to frys in the future.

Very friendly, took time to explain the med I was picking up. Have stopped at another Safeway Pharmacy in the area with poor results. This store is well worth the extra few miles drive.

Safeway does not care about the customers. Last year a Safeway employee decided it was OK to put his hands on my wife and injure her back. We gave a statement to Safeway about it and was expecting some help. Their loss prevention team hassled my wife and basically made her out to be the bad guy, didnt do anything to the employee in my wife's incident but fired him 3 weeks later because he did the exact same thing to a co-worker. My wife has not set foot in that store since out of fear of what might happen next.

It's a Safeway, so you know what you get with that. We were in from out of town and needed supplies for the Airbnb. After shopping we were trying to check out but they only had two lines open. There was about 8 people in each line. This was around 4 pm on 4.21.22. I'm not sure if it was break time or changes in help, but they were clearly understaffed.

Most of the staff know how to do their job like they're supposed to but then there's those others that don't or choose not to do their job appropriately so that's why I give it a four star rating instead of five. This is coming from a current employee there. The reason why I say most of the stuff out there know how to do their job is because I'm friends with most of the employees and we have a great time while maintaining our job quality equity and integrity. We also love to keep our customers happy satisfied and coming back for more fulfillment and entertainment. I'm a cashier but I love to make people smile everyday otherwise I don't see why I'm there. As a cashier at this location I made it my personal goal to make every one of my customers smile to the best of my abilities or try to make them feel welcomed to our store at any given time and to feel willing and prepared to ask for help from any of the employees. But I do have to say that a few of my supervisors are actually really cool they do know how to train their new employees well and I would say that it is a pretty decent place to work at as well as shop. But the general store manager does have a negative attitude towards most employees no matter who they are or their job position. But in my opinion I don't focus on him because he is not a major factor in my decisions on whether or not I treat my customers with respect or without respect. I aim to treat my customers with the respect that they deserve no matter how disrespectful they are to me and to make sure they find everything that they are looking for it and hopefully more

This Safeway used to be a bit of a respite from a packed Fry's across the street, however lately the limited stock and business of this store has gone up tenfold. I although this place is still a good stop if you need to buy if you essentials, my major issue with this place is that they always seem to be out of some thing that you need. Not only are they out of something niche, but predominately it out of something that's pretty basic. I hope that they resolve the issue by making sure that items are stocked more often, and that they have more employees on hand to check out and assist customers.

Bought gas and it pulled my card for 125, I spent $70 and it never refunded what I didn't use

Clean and well stocked store. Lots of choice, lots of fresh food choices, friendly staff. They do online orders with curbside pickup. Very convenient

I ordered a one tier cake and a dozen cupcakes from the bakery for my gender reveal party. The theme was "Taco Bout a Baby" so we had it fiesta themed. The cake decorator was so amazing and customized my cake for me exactly like I wanted it. It came out so much better than I had expected I was very impressed with it! We added the cake topper a couple flowers and the toppers on the cupcakes. So affordable and so pretty I will definitely use this bakery again.

Tried the curbside pickup and was pleasantly surprised, I received everything I wanted and will definitely keep doing it.

Every time I go this Safeway for their Just for U offers - the shelves and freezers are ALWAYS depleted of their sale items! What do they do- only put one or two sale items out there just to get you in the store??? Also, when you ask for customer assistance as to where an item is located - they don't know their a** from their elbow! I asked for assistance as to where an item was located - the staff person took off to "find out" where this item was located - never saw him again. Laveen will soon be getting an Aldi so Fry's and Safeway in Laveen BOTH better straighten their s*** up!!

They started curb side service but they can't perform the service. Ordered 8 items and they gave me a time of 2 pm pick up but after I paid, it said 2 to 8 but don't come till you get a text . 7 pm no text. customer service was no help and couldn't tell me why . They told me they will send a message to the online manager to contact me, of corse no one has. Last time I use this service I will stick with Amazon and go puff in the future.

If this Safeway had a soundtrack, it would go something like this: Attention service desk: two, zero, zero.
